| Hey guys! I've been working on my Black Dwarf warband a week or so, and this is what I've done so far. My goal is to finish them before the Boring Mordheim Meeting in Bremen. These are the mini's I've been working on. Two regular Chaos Dwarf henchmen and a Gaoler. Note that the Gaoler mini is the same mini from the forum banner! I usually am not a big fan of using miniatures from companies other than GW, but I really liked this mini and it fits the GW style perfectly. I also like the idea to have a female hero in my warband. I'm also working on my Bull Centaur. I used to original Bull Centaur body and decided to start sculpting the upper body because I didn't liked the original one. And to show you guys how dedicated I am atm, I even got the Black Dwarf PDF on my iPhone! Hopefully I stay motivated to finish this warband in time! Cheers

Not that I know of. But you can easily use Sneaky Git models as Informers, in fact that was one of the intentions behind them. | |

| To make a blunderbuss for my outriders I took an empire handgun and cut off the end, then replaced it with the end of the blunderbuss in the militia kit. I'm not sure if the barrels would match as well with the thunderers handgun but it's worth a shot. Short of that you could just sculpt a cone, but I imagine that would be tricky. | |

Haha thanks, that might be an idea.. hmm - black mantis wrote:

Almost, I used to use a mechanical pencil tip for the bolts, but I lost it and didn't want to buy a new one.. So now I use the glue needle thingy from Revell Plastic Glue, works a charm. So.. I've been painting two of my Chaos Dwarf henchmen this weekend, and they painted up surprisingly well (because I normally spend way too many hours on a single mini.. ) I also worked a bit on the Heroes for the rest of the warband. They still need some work, but I'm hoping to finish converting them by tomorrow. I also made some progress on the Bull Centaur. No pictures yet, because it doesn't look picture worthy yet, imho.. Anyways, what do you guys think?

| Awesome! I love how they're turning out painted. One tiny thing you could do to really turn it up a notch thoughm would be a darker line at every one of those scratches on the metal areas. It looks like you've done that on a small part of the shield with the symbol.. and it really adds a lot of depth! | |
