Maikacir's FIRST ruined house! *FINISHED!!*

Hey guys!
The last two days I have been working on the very FIRST actual ruined house I have ever made!

Since someone obviously wont allow me to get my hands in some foamboard, I had to find some sort of supstitute for foamboard... That has become: cardboard!
But not just reguarly cardboard, no... It's called (directly translated from the danish word: maskin-pap) "machine-cardboard"!
It's 3 milimeters thick, and nicely sturdy
So.. There has to be a catch, wont there? yea.. it's the price.. It's quite expensive the sheet I bought, which is 70x100 cm, costed a bit over 80 danish crowns - which is just about 11 Euro... I think it's some quite expensive cardboard! BUT.. It IS very nice for terrain!

Anyway, here is what I have made! (All I have to do now, is to paint it )

I'm hoping to get it basecoated today, but thats "unfortunately" all I can do until friday.. I'm going home to my girlfriend today, and I'm staying there 'till friday

it's a very cool building! nicely painted!

However, the walls that are "ruined" are too smooth on top i think.

VERY NICE! That REALLY turned out GREAT! I like your choice of colors & the burnt top section. WELL DONE!

They are a bit to smooth yeah, but the building looks realy great! It's an inspiration for me since I'm working on my first building too

Yea, they are.. But this was kind of a "test-building" to see whether or not the cardboard I bought was good enough for walls (so details like that wasn't really that important at the moment..)
Since they have been proven good enough for walls, I can now start building some more - and more complex - buildings!

Test-building or not, it's still very good work.

Very nicely painted! For the first one, it is really great! Dont hesitate to show us everything what you make!

Seeing those wavy walls just makes me itch to give it a once-over with the knife, give it more of a 'pieces broken off' look. Still, definately good enough to put on the table.

Quite the confidence boost to actually have a finished piece under the belt, no?

Yes indeed it is!
I have started building the next ruined house, but I'm not sure when it'll be done - the summervacation is over tomorrow (atleast for me it is ) so I wont have that much time to be doing stuff like this
