| This looks for some very tense gameplay.
Tell me: am I right in thinking the passages are narrow, so as miniatures must travel in single file ?

| thx DN, skaal & VK skaal, narrow passages i.e. 1.25" wide except center which is 1.5" (board is my usual 12" x 12" with 3/4" exterior walls) size based on all my non-large minis on 25 mm bases plus some have arms/weapons that stick out from base, so needed a bit more clearance... only downside of layout is 40 mm bases don't fit...guess they'll either be prohibited or will have to use temporary marker or counter, maybe with penalty for tight quarters... | |

| some progress... walls not glued or nailed yet tiles taking forever interior walls to do... PS labyrinth causes confusion, i.e. you may not end up where you want house rules later for how this is handled in game... | |

| EXCELLENT PROGRESS! There is something irresistible about mazes. Keep up the SPLENDID WORK the end is in sight! I have a "taking forever" piece in the works also, so I can identify. | |

| I always feel so good those rare times when I get something to a point at which I am willing to stop and call it done. So you are either working for the joy of the creation, or the joy of completion. I think if you worked in metal, you would enjoy it more though since welding little tiny squares is REALLY hard (let alone cutting them). | |

| thx again DN & VK VK, I was thinking of collecting stray hairs and spider webs and weaving walls, but figured out I am too lazy and with limited patience... will probably do arrow slots on some of interior walls...just because haven't decided on interior wall height yet, but exterior walls are ~ 2 5//8"...so will base/floor and "lid" ~ 3" total height bit more progress...floor tiles done! this pic give a pretty good idea of maze layout will paint floor before installing walls... masking tape is because I use a spray primer/paint for the base and want the wood glue to bind walls PS thinking of gelatinous cube roaming...

| Great discipline in the painting stage. I tend to put things together, then wish I had painted them first... - Quote :

The texture would be amazing!

| While I do normally build then paint, there are those areas that can be seen but not reached with a brush that have to be done first. Have FUN with it! | |

| The Labyrinth is coming along in FINE FASHION; the brushwork & color choices are as EXCELLENT as the crafting. The modular dungeon is an interesting take on the beasty...I see there has been some bleeding involved. GREAT WORK all around. | |

| sorry got distracted painting figures from another genre... small update: interior walls all cut and set up to show final layout/concept bricks to do, then paint, gluing, pinning you can get a sense of scale from the second pic (exterior walls all painted too but not shown) | |
