| Cookie for Hero! This bunch of plastic pieces is going to be a pit fighter very soon. Pieces: A quick mock up: What do you think about the helmet? Does it looks strange? Here is a close-up: I think I will give the helmet a quick black priming, I want to know how it looks once painted (sometimes green stuff looks ugly, but it gets way better when you paint over it... we´ll see) | |

| Why do you think the helmet is strange? I think it's a good helmet for a pit pighter, who should be well protected. And you have no problem with painting his face | |

| My last Mordheim mini is finished. I painted this little guy a few hours ago, and it was really fast to paint. I used very few colours to keep it simple. The skin is greyish blue, a pale colour that I think is appropiate to someone whose face is a skull! | |

| That's a really good pose! And your alterations are top notch! He looks menacing and confident, just the way a seasoned pit fighter should. | |

| The guy is now finished: It was quite time consuming despite being a simple conversion, and I still don´t know why... well, it is one of these unsolved misteries you often find when working with minis... | |

| Those guys turned out nicely, but i do agree that something is a little off. For me it is the adjacent cloth areas that are the same color. The loincloths and pants are the culprit. If they all had the contrasting brown loincloth of the one on the right i think they would be perfect!
From what i can tell you used a watered down light flesh with various washes. What are the specific paint brands and colors you used?

Ehmmm... I don´t know. I used an old mix made from Vallejo Light Flesh and white. Citadel Elf Flesh should look just the same.
