Oswor´s WIP: dwarves, empire, chaos, and whatnot...

Thanks for the milliput tips, my first experience was not so fun!

A quick preview of the evolution on the darksouls and mutants:

VERY, VERY COOL STUFF...VERY! The flesh & metal work are BEAUTIFULLY DONE. I was going to ask what colors you had in mind for the cloth parts, but I think I'd rather be surprised. Keep up the EXCELLENT WORK!

You paint really nice – step-by-step tutorial please!

What do you think about the clothes? Maybe a pale blue-purple, dunno...

The Lads/Thingys are coming along TERRIFICALLY. I drew a blank on the color also, although I tend to think of Norse & stripped pants. Keep up the FINE WORK!

Can a thread be resurrected so happily after months and months of nothing!??

I found some old BFSP goblin and decided to do something with it. After some searching in my box-o-bitz I found interesting things:



How can I combine this? I mauled the poor goblin with no remorse...:

Well, pics are crappy mainly because of black priming, but you get the idea. This little fella will probably serve in my *still very WIP* undead warband as a dreg.

Bet he doesn't have to wait in line when he goes shopping for his Master...VERY CREATIVE kit bashing. WELL DONE!

Arrr, my home has been a f$%// mess for the last week due to a ceiling works (no, nothing scenery-related!) and everything is covered by dust and dirt and... oh well...



On topic, mercenaries are now just stored and waiting for the ending of this mess. As soon as I can paint-work I´ll post my progress.

I do it quite often when i update my terrain log or Night Goblin warband.

And speaking of night goblins, that is a great use for all those spare goblins everyone seems to have laying around! I would never thing to use them for anything other than goblins due to their size, but it works as a Dreg.

The works in my house finally ended! I did some work on some minis but sadly they are not very Mordheim-related...:



In case nobody knows, I am the proud owner of an ever-growing Ork army! These nobz needs the skin done, finish the metals and detail such as nails, teeth, etc. And then ready to WAAAAAAGH!!

Ahem... I did *very* little progress on my Reiklanders, adding some rope and cord:



The bow and arrows on my veteran´s back looked silly because not being tied - they just looked glued here.

And finally a better view of my latest dreg, now primed (the former pictures looked like a big black spot with a skull):

nice minis! it good to see someone else paint on white:)

I usually paint on black primer, but now I have a white one too... so I prime black and then I spray some white over it. It helps a lot popping up details and it is a perfect base to work over it.

But yes, white priming is an old forgotten friend...

COOL STUFF! The new Reiklanders are going to paint up nicely. The Little Skull Faced Lad looks like you used the dry bush white over black prime that's become my current favorite base coat. AND ORKS are the BEST...that about sums it up.

Yep.. Usually I usually see orkz like an army not fun to paint.. but seeing at his minis and that great paint job... changes my mind right off the bat

It looks like an orc blasted into pieces ... but I bet that won't be the end result right ?

If it will be like your other conversions, I'm sure it will be awesome!
