Oswor´s WIP: dwarves, empire, chaos, and whatnot...

Hellooo and welcome to my gallery of dark people and greedy warriors... I´ll try to post everything Mordheim-related i do. Now I´ll shut up and start posting things...

First my dwarves. All old school metal goodness. Beer & crossbow:

I need to paint their leader, the engineer ando some more warriors.

This wonderful Gamezone miniature will probably serve as troll, possesed or some other ugly monster:



These two guys were kitbashed without any sort of planning. The first one is based on a orks legs, chaos marauder torso and arms, mutated head and lots of green stuff:



And this little fella was modelled over a gnoblar. I removed the huge mace he was carrying and sculpted a scythe (the blade is from a Hero Quest skeleton). I added a head from the orks sprue wich looked ugly/retarded enough an voilá!:



They will probably serve as dregs in a hypothetical undead warband...someday.

As far as painting, modeling, & basing goes, these Guys are WONDERFULLY DONE with an INCREDIBLE amount of character & personality. The facial expressions ARE exceptional. GREAT WORK! BRAVO and stuff like that!

Little update, possessed! Apologices for the nefarious pictures, the lighting was terrible and today im unable to make the physical effort needed to take better pics. Ah, sundays...

Two darksouls. The masks are shoulder pads from chaos kits:



The chaos marauder sprue is very useful - it provides you with material for converting maces, chains, masks, etc.

Oh, and a teaser of whats to come...



[EDIT] What weapon should i give to the magister? I have no idea...

More UBERCOOL STUFF! The Possessed are suitably NASTY pieces of work. AND that Dreg is just the COOLEST Little Loony; you managed to get a TREMENDOUS amount of personality on one VERY small mini. VERY WELL DONE!

Updates time.

My (soon to be) mercenary warband is taking shape. I´ve used the state troops and the new archer boxes, and they work together very well! I have assembled 10 troops already.

Bases ready (milliput):


I had some probles with my captain´s left arm because no arm seemed right to me. With no sword-wielding left arm, I had to made one. I used a regular sword from the state troops box and glued it to an archer´s arm.



Then I filled the big gap between the body and the arm with blu-tac:



And sculpted the details with green stuff:



Quite simple!:

(one of the campions had the letters "KF" sculpted over his chest and I only realized that when I finished assembling him. I had to remove them with the guy fully glued... oh well.... )

These Guy are going to look SO GOOD when they're all painted up. The new Empire Archers are very cool minis; I've got to get some of them...looks like there's a bank job in my future. Keep up the GOOD WORK!
