A FINE LOOKING Band of Righteous, Old Lady Burning, Bigots [rumble of thunder], erm...Warriors of Sigmar Suspect . Nice choice of minis; GW makes some GREAT stuff, but they ARE NOT the sole source of GREAT minis, much as they'd like us to think otherwise. VERY WELL DONE! thumbsup

jst had my first mordheim game in a while with my witch hunters and it was sooo much fun with dogs kick ars! every 1 died bar my main guy however every one managed to recover after the match unskathed including all 4 doggies

iv decided i need some plebs however and have seen the error of my ways in shunningy the zealot and flagnant models for it was there quirkyness that drew me to them in the first place. after a long hard look at them iv happily converted them into something i think will make me proud here is what iv done so far

Ben's Witch hunters P1000220

Ben's Witch hunters P1000221

hands free sheilds for fish and puppets are a zealots best freind, mearly strap them to ur arm with a belt!

I don't think that the witch-hunter having any resemblence with WoWarcraft characters (which, by the way, I do not see at all) is in any way a bad thing.

I do agree that the Witch Hunter may seem a little unconvetional for the GW universe, but so what? It is an intersting model, that goes a little in the DnD direction.

In my humble opinion, this is a valid miniature choice. Besides, who cares what GW thinks? If you like the model, use it!

Why can't a woman be a warrior priest? Actually i personally think a female cleric (a warrior priest is basically the same thing) is way cooler than the male counterpart.
So while I agree that the witch hunter MAY be a questionable choice for some, the cleric is off limits and perfectly fine with me.

I LOVE the minis you picked out & the way you did them up. Of course considering my taste in things this MIGHT not be a glowing recommendation for folks in general Suspect . About the only critique I have is that your eyes really should have pupils. Otherwise, WONDERFUL STUFF! thumbsup

I like the minis you picked and the paintjob a lot Very Happy! very cool! I'd try to make them a bit less shiny, though.

Matt and co have the ball on this one, one of the beauties of Mordheim is its adaptability (i'd love to see some one create even more flexability in the warband rules, as i've a host of unused figures that i'd dearly enjoy to use in a game) and as for female clerics bring em on i love a babe in full plate armour. keep up the fight benny-89

I detest the WoW Aesthetics – that's just me though, and I don't quite agree that the captain was that "wowified".
Anyway, mind you that I've bought some Reaper models and found them slightly smaller in scale than the GW stuff. Anyone else who has this experience?

Reaper models vary a little in size since they are meant for RPG games mainly. So you might very well have been a little unlucky (althoug I don't see it as a problem that miniatures slightly vary in size. After all humans do that too don't they?). I bought a female dwarf warrior (one of the nicest dwarf models i have ever seen btw) and she fit her warband just fine.

I guess it varies a little. But don't worry too much about that Wink

Shocked "wowified" im horrified!

it was never meant to look like a something from world of warcraft, that was never the plan at all and im rly dishearten that u think so. i my self am a reformer wow addict, 8 months off the realms clean preaze jesuse crist! lol!

its ment to be an aasimar (celestial blooded mortal) fighter cleric from dungeons and dragons 3.5

also! recently orderd 4 new reaper models so i will soon have a new captain and war priest that look tottaly wicked sic picks will come soon
