| Good clean colours. And there you have it. They are too clean. May I suggest a wash? DEVLAN MUD should do the trick. Just a quickie and it will be fine. In my humble opinion that is......... | |

| I would agree with lord siwoc. It will be like MAGIC. If you don't trust it... test the wash technique with another model. You will no go back! It is awesome! | |

| Benny: It is SOOOOOOOOO easy, than once you do it you will start to fight the urge to wash all your models!!! Do this 'experiment'... you will need: - Two Skeleton models
- Some white paint.
- Some brown wash (depending the brand, it may be labeled "ink')
Now, paint both skeletons white to your best of you ability. Once you think it is very good, let it dry. Take some of the brown in and load a standard brush... unlike with paint, the brush can be LOADED with ink! Now, slap the paint in ONE of the models Try to go only once over the model. Then watch the show... slowly but steadily the ink will start to move! Yeap... it will 'run' towards the crevices (like between the ribs) so it will look darker and away from the 'upper' areas (like the rib itself) although it will still stain it a little brown. Once it dries, that virgin white will look a dirty bone white and ALL the crevices a dark brown! Your model will looks SUPER different! The plain white model will look 'cartoonish'... to the point that I will DARE you to look at it for 10 minutes side by side to the washed one and resist NOT painting it! Why a Skeleton? Because they have nice crevices and do a great contrast! Later, you will learn how to control the amount on ink to make different shades. Drybrushing is WAY harder... and as your doggies demonstrate, you dominate the technique very well! If you have a 'muscled' shirtless warrior, paint him flesh color and admire your work. Then wash him and see how his muscles become defined... and feel like you can win the Golden Tom! Here some samples... not my painting, but its the idea. BEFORE WASHAFTER WASH

| NOT BAD! Now, with a little highlighting, you' got something. It pains me to mention this, but you've got that Space Marine shoulder pad upside down...the rounded part goes on top. | |

not sure how i did it mostly dumb luck, try controlling a droplet of 'wash' so it sits on the crown of his head and dosnt run off down the sides hence giving the darker patch... that would be my guess
