| Your greenstuff work is pretty sharp.. take some inspiration from Warhammer Online? Their norse houses are pretty damn sweet! Couldn't find any house pics for ya, but here are a few concept pics: | |

| Since I'm getting back into Mordheim, I'll be needing my old thread again i'm still a bit divided about starting an O&G warband or an undead warband, both are awesome from the modelling perspective. Right now I'm leaning towards Orcs, and I need some advice: I want to do something different with my Orcs but I'm not sure what. pirate Orcs are cool, but I want something else :p. The only thing I could come up with is using celtic-inspired blue warpaint on really grim orcs. Damn vacation, why won't my brains work!! I'd love to hear your ideas ^^. | |

| Hah, maybe an undead-themed orc warband? Heavily robed "necromancer" shaman, skull-faced warpaint on the boys, fat ghoul-like big 'uns. | |

There was a Living Impaired Orc & Goblin W.H.F.B. featured in W.D. several years ago, The Night of the Living Waagh. It was strange, but cool...Night Goblins would make GREAT Dregs...actually that seems to be their role according to G.W. anyway.

| The undead orcs are very interesting, but I don't feel like doing that for this project now.
I was considering buying Ruglud's Armoured Orcs to use as crossbowmen, but on the gw site they cost €40 for 10 orcs, is GW out of it's frickin' mind?

| Now I was considering getting 5 squigs (they ensure a fun game), and even those cost €20. Do i really have to pay at least €4 per metal model if I want to continue playing this game? Ah well, at least I can't get more than 5 Squigs in my warband anyway... | |

| You could certainly get some squid models cheap off of ebay if you don't mind using he old models. Or maybe if you look around a little you can even find the new ones for less than 20€. On the other hand, calculate how much you'll have to pay for a dvd or going to the movies and how many hours of fun this is to the fun painting and using the squids can give you. | |

| So I was just rounding up converting my Orc Warrior with great weapon when I went to the store to order me some squigs. I took another look in the shop (-50% on metal minis because they are changing to resin) when I found this guy: It's an "old" Blood Dragon, and gods I love that model... So, having just ordered for about 30 euros of squig herds, I decided to change to an Undead warband, just so I could use this guy :p. I pondered about using the Blood Dragon Knights list (or something like that) but I liked the style of the Undead list better. Why? Zombies, that's why: A "fresh" zombie (he has a big wound in his neck, but it doesn't show on this picture): A "dirty old man who wants to do things with kids" zombie: A "back off, mind your own business" zombie (fresh prince, anyone?) A zombie who moves around on his arms, for giggles (he's quite scary though :p) And an idea for my Necromancer, made with the Empire Battle Wizard kit and a Bretonnian Men-at-arms head: Gods those pics are big, I'll make them smaller next time | |

| Decided to do something different with my necromancer: I changed his pose quite a lot. The arms were glued on angled a bit to the outside so I can see more of the model's "inside". The gaps were filled with greenstuff and I also sculpted a hood on his back (and some rips in his cloak). The modelling is pretty much done, soon I'll get a new brush and start painting . | |

| I took some photos to show some new stuff (another zombie, ghouls and dreggs), but they all sucked, so for now I'll just ask a little question: i was considering giving my dreggs bows, but would this be smart? They could shoot while advancing behind a line of zombies for example, but they only have bs2. Or give a bow to a dregg when his bs goes up? Or just simply no bows for dreggs? :p I'd like to know before modelling them . Thanks. | |

| The bows on dregs debate is one of those big questions. I always do. Just to keep the shooting warbands honest, but my group plays with rules that allow models to hit with a 6+ similar to 6th edition Warhammer. Using regular Mordheim rules bows are not such a good investment, since they will most likely need more than a 6 to hit which is impossible under Mordheim rules. | |
