I'm anxious to see this piece of art finished, I absolutely love the way you paint it so far - it makes me wanna buy and paint one myself!

| You make my home-made scenery look like bits of cardboard with paper mache on it, which I've spray painted... Cause... Well... that's what they are XD
The stuff you guys do is awesome. Haven't read all 13 pages of this yet but, have you guys thought about (or had suggested to you) doing a high street set? Like have a hairdressers, tailors, cobblers etc...? Just be some generic buildings but have one of those swinging signs outside with nice little icons. and then if you can like detach the roofs and stuff, would be able to have some cool accessories...
No? kay =/

| Thank you! We have enough ideas for at least 2 years of work, but it is a good idea. Who knows, maybe we will do something like that in the future. Ok, the first guard room is finished so here are some pictures. The shutters will be added later: | |

| Ok, time for an update. The four guard rooms are finished (except for the shutters which will be added later). Note that the guard rooms are not assembled perfectly, that is because they are not glued together yet: Next: interior details for guard rooms and shutters. | |

| That is JUST BEAUTIFUL...a GREAT source of inspiration. The interior details & all the exterior paraphernalia are superb. I LOVE the asymmetrical look of the place...very much in keeping with the better conceptual art of the G.W. Lads. VERY WELL DONE! I hope your Christmas Season is JOYOUS & MOST PROFITABLE! | |

| Okay, I'll be honest here... The detail is mind-blowing. Far above "amazing" and the other usual superlatives. This is definately the best stuff around hand down. Not even doll houses supplies in a scale twice the size can keep up with this level of detail. It's not like you've ever had a lot of competition but you keep raising the bar into heights where there is no competition. It's unbelievable. This is the type of stuff you normally only see some dediacted freaks do for themselves but having this available for purchase... that is really great for us unworthy thick-fingered gamers. Now my personal gripe that makes this a no-buy: My first impression (that just won't go away) is that the building reminds me of the Smurfs. It's the curved roofs. Where your previous buildings looked still somewhat historical this has fantasy written all over it (or maybe "Hansel and Gretel"). I always loved Forge World's style of authentic buildings and the style I am looking for is not fantasy. I am sure others love fantasy buildings but the more fantasy the buildings are the less they are relevant for historical players or even players like me who enjoy both fantasy and historical. I may sound a bit overdramatic here - that's just because I would hate to see you go into a fantasy direction and leave the historicals like me behind. We already have GW for the ... weird stuff. So I'll pass on this one but still look very very much forward to your next buildings (forge revisited?), probably even more so when I imagine the awesome previous generation buildings enhanced with this level of detail. Rant over. Love. | |

I totally new you are going to say something like this! I respect your opinion very much, and I understand your point of view. We like to give our new models more character, I guess that led us to more of a fantasy style, although I don't think we went to far. I think you will find something for yourself in the future. | I like both the old and new style houses. As long as one doesn't mix, all should be fine. Too bad most of the stuff cannot really be used for Mordheim (except for the ruined coach inn)... | |

| I like the very Warhammer-esque curved roof ridge. It's really tough to make from scratch, so it's just the kind of thing I love to see in a kit! - Tabletop World wrote:
