| I noticed that the bandana is a little flat, too. I think I'll add some more greenstuff to it (even though it is anatomically untypical/impossible for an orc as they all seem not to have too much head above their eyes... perhaps he stuffed some cotton below it to keep his head warm). Unfortunately, I don't have and couldn't find such a cool glyph like Kurgan used, so I will just paint some Skull & Crossbones on it myself (if I manage to do so). Further, I noticed that I completely forgot about attaching pistols, so I will have to do this, too. | |

| I am glad you like it!
And thanks for the tip with the flamer. Now I just have to wait until my Cadians arrive (I coincidentally ordered some a while ago) and then I can finish the bandana and some other parts and start painting.

| Just a small update. I followed our dear Admin's advice and, with Kurgan's friendly tip, added both bulk and detail to the bandana. Unfortunately, the Pyrate did not want to stand upright today, so you can only get a small glimpse of the pistols I added, too. | |

I hadn't thought of that before [there are a LOT of things I don't think about ]. He DOES have a certain slightly more brutal resemblence to Captain Jack. COOL! The bandana looks great, AND a Pirate can't have enough pistols. Keep up the GOOD WORK!

| a quick piece of advice with the fingerprinting issue. GS can be wet sanded with 1000 grit sandpaper with some success. You are going to find though that GS doesnt sand partiularily well overall. GS mixed with Brownstuff or Brownstuff on its own or ProCreate putty will all sand MUCH better. If you intend to be working in a manner where you are revisinf forms after they have dries then I really reccomend switching/adding putties to your repetoire - the right tool for the right job. | |

I bought a tool at a crafts shop, its sort of brush only instead of hairs at the end its got a sort of rubber tip witch bends verry easyly (I dont know how to explain this better ) After you finish you GS work you wet the tool and "brush" over you GS work and you can easy smouth all your work.

| the tool you are talking about is called a colorshaper or clayshaper depending on the colour/hardness of the tip - I Highly reccomend these as well I use the soft grey tipped ones in several shapes. | |

| Heresy Miniatures sell a huge range of clay shapers, tools and a range of putties to push about with them. | |
