B11 2013-05-04 Ruined Tower & Wall

The transition walls seemed empty and lonely

And I wanted to try to work with my second Warhammer Fortress set

A15 2013-05-04 Coast

Wanted to add a little bit more rustic / wild to my board

With a ruined watch tower

Trees not shown

The rocks (not all shown) are on separate bases

The skiff was a quick one-off built later with the ship wreck

A16 2013-05-04 River Rapids

Now needed to connect the mine to the coast

A17 2013-05-04 Wharf TEMP

Next problem: If I'm going to build a connector between the river canal and river rapids, then that means the quarter block temporary module will be next to the dock...leaving an unfilled 6" x 6" gap

So I made a temporary wharf

A18 2013-05-04 Water Wheel Quarter

Yeah, I wanted to do a complicated water wheel

Quite I lot of planning and technical construction for such a small (6" x 6") board

The little pipe was added later after my next river sections

A19 2013-05-04 City Block Board Quarter

This little board connected the half board, half board river transition, the 2"-to"3" transition stairs, and temporary transition board

Previously seen here (without the lid, which was built later): http://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t7184-my-completed-mordheim-board

B12 2013-12-04 Cemetery

So my more urban building modules were populating my first city board

I needed building modules for my original 2' x 2' board

First up: Tomb of the Unknown Poet

Trees not shown

B13 2013-12-06 Inn

My first board that is not 8" x 8"!

Doubles as a ruined brothel

Also my first crafted ladder / stair

It's 10" x 10" and overlaps the board to the two outer edges

I think first glimpsed here: http://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t7497-my-mordheim-board-so-far-update

B14 2013-12-11 Butcher Baker

Decided to make two 4" x 8" building modules that could do a couple of things:

1) nest next to each other to form a single 8" x 8" block

2) be used separately, including "sitting" on 4" wide streets to block off full access while still allowing a more narrow path

First one:

B16 2013-12-12 Dolphin Villa

Wanted to make a second villa, envisioned as a somewhat fortified version that could be out in the country and defended by a few stout warriors

B17 2014-01-14 Small Square

I planned to make a 1' x 2' x 1" high board that had multiple 4" x 4" openings for building modules

I already had the previous two half block (4" x 8") building modules so I set out to make 7 little buildings

(The board technically was made first, but I'm posting it after the 7 modules...)

B24 2014-02-14 Copse

Ironically trees not shown

Idea to have another "building module" that was more outdoor-sy

A21 2014-06-22 River 2 Rustic

Needed 1" high transition between my very first board and downwind

Instead of making a 6" x 2' board, made four 6" x 6" boards that could be set up in multiple ways

B25 2014-06-28 Temple of Eternal Light

Looking back, next couple of pieces had religious theme

This was a very complicated, complex, and engaging building module

Also atypical size: 11" x 12"

Extensive postings in links
