(apologies as always for camera quality)
this board is complete!
I left a bunch of other notes in the WIP
these photos only show one of many possible set up
2 x half block modules (~4" x ~8")
7 x quarter block modules (~4" x 4")
even though some of the streets and buildings seem (and are) narrow, everything can be removed by level for access to minis easily
the wood construction makes every level very stable and very hard to damage
so minis can safely be left in place when level 2 removed to get to level 1 minis
all the new quarter block modules also fit the 4" wide streets (gaps) on my big 2' x 2' board
(I illustrated how this works with my previously posted half block modules)
red roof tiles will eventually get full multi-color treatment seen on half block modules seen in this post
comments welcome Smile

here we go:

I posted this in WIP previously but here it is again to see how and where modules fit

look down the board lengthwise

2-unit apartment (habitable upper floor) on left, 2-unit ruined apartment on right, front of tavern in background

same as before, different angle

interior ladder (scratch built) detail of 2-story 1-unit apartment

rotated end to set up this shot

another long look down board

another detail shot

detail of ruined 2-unit apartment

detail of other ruined 2-unit apartment

finally, in the middle of finishing construction I finished a small quarter block temple/shrine
(the gold dome roof is to do still...)

this was also minor test at building octagonal building and dome
unsure if will use (plastic or wood) dome or build truss structure for roof...
