| If it wasn't for the green base on the model, I would say this looks absolutely real! Well done, indeed!
This is one of those projects I've been religiously following here in the forum, as this gives so much inspiration.
Will you be putting a tutorial or a mention on the colours you've been using on the rocks and floor?

| Hello,
First, thank for your kind comments and ... ok, ok JoaoS, I'shall make a decent base on my mini for the next photos ! ;o)
@JoaoS : OK. I'll make a new simple module (in fact the eight) : a crossing. I'll take photos of each point and try to explain the 'how to', but it's very easy ... The sewers module will be done after...
@DeafNala : I shall post soon in LAM a other tabletop in WWII (15mm)...
@Boreas_NL : No, I am a frenchie, near Paris, not far from Euro Disney Land.

Anyway, cool dungeon! | |

| Hello, @Reg06 : I glue (white wood glue) some dark green scenery grass (woodland scenic or others) and when dry, I put some two or three layers of gloss varnish to make them 'wet'... @DeafNala : Thanks for the link (didn't know if I could...) @JoaoS and all of you : my little tutorial begins First of all, I take an 10 mm MDF (or plywood) of 300x300 mm Then an 20 mm foam of 296x296 mm I, generally, draw the module on the foam and if necessary make some cutting (for level) Then with white wood glue, I glue the foam on the MDF (centered in the middle). I need to have 2 mm more of MDF on each side. Then with an hot saw (the GW one!) I cut some 6O mm polystyrene block and glue them on the foam to make the rocks. I cut some 2 mm cardboard to make the sides... Always with white wood glue, I glue the cardboard sides ... on the sides of the polystyrene. When dry, I take some stucco (? Look the photos) and, with a big brush, take big notches and put stucco everywhere on the rocks in a circular motion. And now... I have to wait one or two days for the stucco to be dry... So... see you next time with the following... Jacques | |

| Yessss... I can go on... I put 1 or 2 mm of white wood glue everywhere on the ground of the module Then, with a spoon, I spray sand on the glue I prepare the "bridge" but, it will be make and paint in the last step... Just a general look... In a corner, I plan to put an upstair in Hirst Arts bricks. Ok, now we have to wait one day before the beginning of the paint... So, bye, bye. Jacques | |

| Hi, Sorry, I am in late ! OK. Now it's time to make the module stronger. I put a strong black rubber around the sides and bottom. Then, time to make the bridge : two real branches... And, with a big brush, put black undercoat everywhere. Lets dry two days... And with an old (very old) brush, I made the first drybrushing : white. Everywhere : a strong drybrushing on the walls of rocks and a more light one on the ground When dry, a drybrush of Vomit brown (GW) on many spots on the walls and ground Then a second drybrushing of leather snakebyte (GW) some on others spots than the vomit brown, some on the same. But let see a little the vomit brown Then, Bestial brown (GW) with some light touches... Least, but not last : a wash of Snotling green (GW) in the corners, and some on the walls... OK. It's all for now. I have to wait the wash will be dry. I shall put and glue the bridge and the stairway before the last drybrushing... Next time ! Jacques | |

| Hey, Well, here are the last stages of this little tutorial : After the wash of green, I made a heavy drybrushing of Codex grey (GW) on some spots of the walls. Where you can see the rocks, where they are up... This drybrushing is to soften all the colors we have put. But, I don't drybrush the ground. Here are the stairs and how I glue them in the ground. Colors are : a black undercoat, drybrush of white and then some light wash of different greys (codex grey and fortress grey) and brown (vomit brown, snakebyte leather) on the stones. A last wash of Badab black (GW) everywhere on the stairs. And to finish, with a little brush, I put codex grey on some stones on the ground. Not all but the bigger ones. And a little wash of Badab Black on these stones (and some others too). Here is the finished module. Finished... not really. I have to 'populate' it with some features. You will see this soon. Bye Jacques | |

| VERY WELL DONE! The colors are BEAUTIFUL. One of the things about terrain is that it is never actually complete; there is a always some little embellishment that must be added...it's one of the reasons I love making scenery. | |

| I love all the details you include in your pieces...there always seem to be something that I hadn't noticed before. There's even a storyline to the Beasty...that same warrior that had wandered through each of the tiles finally reaches the exit in the last photo; then there's the overview of the entire board showing his journey. GREAT STUFF...keep up the FINE WORK! | |
