Biggus d’Fatuus and his men needed more resources, supplies, and money.

They were sitting around the campfire sipping on warm ale and cutting of pieces of meat from an animal they were cooking. Biggus looked into his pint of ale and he started to see vision of the Lady of the Lake. He saw bits of the future and saw that if he and the warband went and collected people for a research project that the doctor of the research would pay 2D6 gold dinars for each “volunteer”.

Biggus and his men assisted three “volunteers” for the doctor and then found a wondering camel that had 2 treasures on it. The doctor thanked Biggus for the test subjects….umm I mean volunteers and said, “Beacuse of your help and experience you will know be able to use 1 spell from the BOOK of Nagash” Fatuus was excited but scared, Fatuus knew the Book of Nagash was evil and no chivalrous Bretonnian would attempt thus but Biggus was drawn to the book. He pulled the leather bound old dusty book out of his lock box.

The book flashed when brought out to the open and the pages of the book moved rapidly and small ekectric type charges pulsed from the book, as the pages stopped turning and stopped on the page of Servants Eternal . This spell would allow the magic caster to summon D3 Zombies at the start of each battle,

3 - Servants Eternal Difficulty: Auto
Calling upon the powers of darkness, the caster summons undying servants to do his bidding.

This spell must be used before the game, and may only be used once. When cast, the spell summons D3 Zombies to the casters side. The evil that sustains the abominations will fade after the battle, turning their damned flesh to dust. As such, these zombies do not count towards the warbands maximum size.


Scenario: Press Gang
Campaign: Araby
Warbands: Lame Vampires, Witch Hunters, and the ever pure and righteous Mousillon Bretonnians

Found a giant crab
1 successful diving charge by wardog — with Brandon Gridley and 3 others.

It sounds like the Book of Nagash is luring Biggus d'Fatuus down the path to Damnation. He may soon be leading the pure & ever righteous when not too inconvenient Bretonnians.

Deafnala yes, that is the path he is taking, unfortunately, Biggus d’Fatuus doesn’t know this, he believes he is on quest fir the lady of the lake,

It all adds up to a terrific story. The story telling aspect of Mordheim is what appeals to me...along with the minis.

I had never gotten into the narrative aspect of Mordheim till this last year, lol. Not sure what took me so long
