Ashamed of that? It's excellent! Great job! | |

| EXCELLENT START! Fear not all the extra little embellishments wil come with each new piece you add to your board. This IS quite a nice piece; the balconey, in particular, is a FINE feature. Keep up the GOOD WORK! | |

| Thanks for the feedback guys, awesome confidence boost! I'll keep pointing out any faults I see with my own terrain though, in the hopes that someone might learn from my mistakes. Status update: 2 layers of PVA + water + black color done. No new pics right now, but seeing how this is supposed to be a chronicle of my whole table, here's the start. I built the first ruin in my new 'do things right, make it look good' project to this state way back in late 2004: Then I moved to a tiny student's dorm and other things got in the way and Mordheim languished until 2007 when I made a push and finished the house: I still have loose plans to get a weatherbeaten roof going on this one, but this is pretty much what it looks like to this day. I've built one more house, a few obstacles and a bunch of bridges n ladders since then - pictures coming one of these days | |

| Who could ever stop delivering with such an awesome audience as this First up, the house you haven't seen yet. Design is pretty much copied directly from one of the rulebook/battle report houses by the GW design team. Then we have the mess that started this thread.Tried some new stuff, and the difference in saturation between the pics above and these ones are sadly a pretty accurate depiction of the difference in colour saturation of the houses. I'm not too worried just yet though, I don't want my table looking too uniform and bland. Some organic variety just spices things up. Or at least that's the working theory at this time. We'll see how it goes once I actually have a table to put them together on. I'm cocky enough to think I can pull some fancy arcane/chaotic graphitti freehandery to lead critical eyes away from any discrepancies I present house number three: I'll probably end up giving all the paintjobs another touch or two before I'm entirely happy, but this is where we stand at the moment. Don't expect this pace on a continual basis, but work will continue until I have my own little slice of the damned city on show! I'm actually not sure what my next big project will be (after I've finished up the previously mentioned barricades and some other small bits). Suggestions will be taken under serious consideration

| That is some wonderful terrain for sure! It looks very "mordheimish". I like the colourse on both them. My only critique would be that on house #3 you could spend more time painting the individual stones separately. That's very time consuming but enhances the look a lot. It would also make up for the carving which seems to not always be that deep. Just a thought, though. It looks great anyway. | |
