A Wholly Accurate Historical Timeline of Events About Biggus d”Fatuus (Mousillon Grail Knight) May 19th, 2022
Biggus d’Fatuus and his men has spent 2 campaigns in Araby searching for books, relics,
maps, and more to find the Holy Grail. In between, the first and 2nd Araby/Khemri campaigns Biggus and his men traveled to Marienburg to obtain more funding, training to use new weapons, and to find a sacred book, that provided the user with Magic powers and a partial map to the supposed Holy Grail location.
This last week, Biggus had received news that there was someone that knew the location of another piece of the map. The Bretonnians arrived into the City late at night and all the homes where locked up for the knight. It was dark and visibility was limited to 5 inches to those who didn’t have torches. The Bretonnians had orches and split up the warband to move into the darken city. For being late at night and dark, there were a lot of the town folk milling around the streets, it was as if the citizens of this section of town knew something was going to happen that night.
Biggus knew a rough location of where the supposed person with knowledge was living. The Bretonnians knocked on the first 2 houses but no one answered the door. Biggus ordered his men to break the 2 doors down. The first house homes the Bretonnians broke down the doors and found nothing. As the Bretonnian began to move through the streets searching for another home to knock on the door they saw movement to their right, it was that Cursed and Vile Chaos Norse warband. The Cursed Norse Warband are very treacherous and Biggus and his men have gotten into a few fistacuffs with them in the past few weeks. Biggus ordered his men to stand down and not provoke the Norse as it seemed they were robbing innocent home owners and starting fights. Those drunk Norse.
Biggus sent two groups of men to go after 2 other homes and knock on the doors. There was no answer at thoise doors but it seemed like people where home and Biggus had to locate the other piece of the map or find the person who had or knew where these map piece was at. The Bretonnian broke down the 2 doors and they found a small room that had a fellow Bretonnian Knight and a few swordsmen that had pledged allegiance to the knight. The knight was very old, in fact, that knight might have been 70-80 years old. Biggus walked up to the old Knight and introduced himself and stated, I am on a mission from the Lady of the Lake to find and bring the Holy Grail back to Bretonnia.
The Old Knight cracked a smile and said, I know, I knew you were coming to meet him. I don’t have the map to the holy grail as it was stolen by another maruading warband but I do have this. The old Kniight pulled out a book, the book looked like it was bound in human flesh but was very dark colored and dirty. The Knight handed the tome to Biggus and said, Here take this tome, it will help you with your journey to find the Holy Grail.
Biggus accepted the Tome and started to leave, the Old Knight said he and his men will help the Bretonnian warband leave that section of the city safely as there was a Blood Sucking Vampire warband roaming teh streets and attacking poor defenseless homeowners and night watch.
Whilst trying to get out of that section of town the mingling crowd had been scared by home robbing Norse and the Blood Sucking Vampires and the mob was running all through the streets in call directions. Biggus and most of his men where knocked down to the ground several times and due to this, they had no real opportunity to attack either the Vampires or Norse. It was better to regroup and try another day.
Biggus was the youngest of the Fatuus Family in Mousillon and now is the Fatuus alive. There are Fatuus’s who are still in Mousillon but they are zombies now. Biggus sat at the fire pit that his men created when they got back to their camp and watched the flames flicker. The Damsel III (Warlock) sat down next to Biggus and said that with the Book of Nagash in Biggus’s hands that this could give them in edge in finding the Grail. Biggus nodded his head and replied back, “I really hope that Book of Nagash does as it feels so wrong but so right at the same time.” Fatuus could feel a power emitting into his body as he held the Old Tome. It was an uneasy power that made Biggus feel concerned but likewise that he wanted more of it.
The Bretonnians had no loses in combat and in fact they had no Out of Action (OOA) fighters, Biggus was able to pay the Ogre, who has three heads, the merchant and warlock they upkeep fees. The warband is almost complete and they need to find a more permanent housing situation as living in the open and getting bit by sand fleas each night is not fun.
