In the second stage of construction, I glued plaster casts and clay bricks.

The space between the plaster casts and the clay bricks was filled with bricks cut out of cork.

It is coming along SPLENDIDLY!
What is the little enclosure at the base of the tower meant to be?

Thank you. What exactly are you asking?

At the base of the tower by the stairs there is a low walled enclosure with one side missing. I wanted to know what it was meant to be.

I don't know what it will be yet, maybe the remains of the foundations of an old tower or a swimming pool?

I am sure it will be interesting whatever it becomes.

I love the idea of the pool or some public baths, would be an interesting element!

I'm slowly approaching the end, so it's time to pour the plaster and carve the cobblestones.

LOOKIN' GOOD! You are approaching That Time when painting becomes THE thing. I am looking forward to seeing the palce in full color...watch the debris & litter grow will be fun as well.

The last step is to fill the gaps with self-hardening clay and fill the gaps between the bark with plastic mass.

Last module finished. Now I will deal with the details, the moat bed and finally the preparation for painting.

It has progressed in fine fashion. GREAT WORK!

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 69.

The first entry starting the report from the construction of the modular table with the ruins of Mordheim for Warheim FS was published on the blog on October 21, 2021, the post can be found HERE.

In turn, a week ago, i.e. June 01, 2023, by publishing a photo of the last module, I completed the first stage of work on the table.

Of course, during these 20 months, I took breaks from time to time and, as a diversion, I also painted figurines that you can see on the blog on Wednesdays.

It would be difficult for me to focus only on the table and not lose my enthusiasm, anyway I managed to exceed the assumed time for the first stage of work by only 2 months. So that's how long it took me to paint the unfortunate Muszkieterów z Nuln.

As I wrote, I have completed the first stage of work and it's time to move on to the next ones.

Now I will focus on adding details, finishing the interiors and making the moat. Here it is difficult for me to estimate the time needed for this, but you can be sure that I will keep you updated on the progress.

The board is EVEN MORE IMPRESSIVE seen in its entirety than as individual modules. VERY WELL DONE!

Wow, quite an achievement! You've got one great set of Mordheim terrain now and it sounds like it will only get better!

The next stage of work on the modular table with the ruins of Mordheim is the preparation of monuments - because there are never enough monuments.

In the photos below you can see Angel Statue 1 from HQ Resin, which I placed on a column bought on an auction site, which I valorized with various bits collected over the years and candles made of electric wires.

Very cool! And I agree: you can't have enough monuments!

The shrines fit nicely with the setting. I really like the top part of the second from the right. GREAT STUFF!

And the second statue with Angel Statue 1 from HQ Resin, which I placed on a column bought on an auction site. Unlike the one presented earlier, this monument is a little less decorative, perhaps because it stands in an alley away from the market square.

I like it! Love the subtle tone of it.
