Maudeheim & Environs, Part III: Updated 11/04/24

In a burst of enthusiasm & bloody minded tenacity, I managed to finish Mushroom Witch #3 other than some embellishments, AND finish four more Mushrooms:










Not too shoddy for an Old Man!

Nice! Even more witches added! Soon you will have a complete coven!

Thanks, Gatlag...glad you like them. Now you have me thinking; i.e., I wonder how the three Witches would look based together.

The second Oogie Boogie puff ball infested Mushroom is done & the Witch's cap has been embellished:

As the weather warms I will be shifting to more painting & somewhat fewer newly sculpted pieces. At least that is the plan for now...plans never remain unchanged when they encounter cruel reality.

The one that 'pops' out for me is Oogie Boogie puff ball! What's the story behind?

The Puffball Fellow, probably due to his legs & the flared lower portion of the cap, reminded me of a ballerina who facially brought Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas to mind. The frightening part is that several other people saw him in exactly the same way.

Daughter-in-law Melissa is a devoted The Nightmare Before Christmas fan. Our house is themed for the movie & Halloween in general...that is inspirational.

AND I finally managed to paint up a few Toadstool type Mushrooms:

Love the purple and green shroom! Reminds me of the Constructicons, which belong to my favorite Transformers!

And the wizard is also looking good, but only somehow I was expecting a white beard...

Haha at first I thought red was good too because one of my favorite pirates has a red beard. But I was wrong, that was Yellowbeard!
