I can imagine that, escpecially when the result is that good! I'm sorry if I missed out on an update but did you had surgery on your eyes or something like that?

Thanks. Gatlag. No surgery...thank God; it is just an infection of some sort. I get a milky discharge instead pf tearing.

Ah, good to read that surgery was not needed. My father had a cataract surgery 2 years ago and that was quite intensive.

After my friend Cap'n John had his cataract operations, he could no longer focus on small objects. That pretty much killed his miniature work & his reading. I am really happy that I don't have that problem. The eyes are slowly getting back to normal. I will be seeing the eye doctor next week.

Wow! Ending the mini hobby in that way is not the most favorable way... Glad to read that's not the issue in your case!

Me too. Cap'n John also has Alzheimer's & suffered a series of strokes that landed him in a nursing home. That necessitated my move back home to Sound Beach. You never can tell what Life has in store for you.

Yes indeed, sometimes it's great and the other it can be quite hard. So better be prepared!

I live in the day. Tomorrow is guaranteed to no one, but, if I live today well, should I be given a tomorrow, it will be better for yesterday. That may not be deep, but it is confusing.

Over the weekend I found the time & motivation to paint up yet more Mushrooms, do some sculpting, & check out how well my eyes were working. This is the results: Group shot:
Big Green & friend #1:
Big Green & friend #2 (this one has a couple of Scibor skulls that tested out my eye):
Lecherous Purple:
AND Amoral Morels:
I have a few more Mushrooms underway in various stages of completion; PLUS my eyes seem to be well enough that I can start doing some minis again...OH BABY!

Fancy Feast seems to be a great type of soil for shrooms! Look how good they grow on it! Great update! Always nice to see some smiling shrooms in the morning!

Fancy Feast was Damnit The Cat's favorite. I had to leave him with Neighbor Hollie when I moved North. He got the food & I got the boxes. They really proved to be useful & a GREAT spot to grow my Mushrooms. When I did my unpacking I found that most of the merrier Mushrooms had been given away. SO there are more smiles in the new batch. I am glad you like them. Thanks for the reply, Gatlag!
