| Although I do not plan any major new Mordheim scenery this year a thread started by PJB: ( https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t9254-some-collective-challenge-or-themebased-builds ) prompted me to dig out some of the smaller "drop-in" LOS blockers that I had collected bits for and get them done. Defaced Statue. Conversion from ancient GW Empire War Altar statue. Tarnished Braziers. Minor conversion of some Elven resin scenery from MoM miniatures Signposts. Limited edition castings from last "Black Crab" miniatures Kickstarter campaign.

| Very much in the aesthetic of Mordheim. And, as Tagnator says, great painting. | |

| Thanks, the aesthetic of Mordheim is important and I am glad it comes across in the pieces. Although there is a lot of truly amazing Mordheim themed stuff around these days (the wonderful sites by Eric Wier and Ana Polanscak particularly) I chose to stay as close to the original 1990s view of the City of the Damned as possible.
I was involved with the launch back then and have loved the game ever since. I do have some proxy and recent re-imagined figures amongst my warbands but as far as possible stick to original models and still the original card buildings (although finding these now, especially the plastic pieces, is difficult and expensive). | |

| Agreed -- lovely pieces (frustratingly difficult to get those Black Crab ones!) & very well painted. I particularly like the ghostly skirts on the hanging woman. | |

| The rest of the pieces created for the May Theme build: Some simple signposts from Dowel and Balsa wood. Improvised barricades made from balsa wood and a selection of resin accessories from various manufacturers. "The Lost Lovers". Hopefully the inspiration for this one is recognisable. Resin rubble pile from Tiny Furniture with figures converted from D&D miniatures, Frostgrave and GW pieces. "Morr's Gate". Resin archway from Forge Prints with bits from various manufacturers and a small Horseshoe Bay mushroom. "The Fountain". Resin fountain from Forge Prints atop a plinth from MoM miniatures. Not the greatest pictures, sorry, sunlight is washing out the colours a bit.
