| The previous pictures I uploaded were a bit washed out - hope these are better! With the lockdown providing me with a bit more time to spare I've been getting into sculpting. I had some plastic Oathmark dwarfs on the shelf for a while so thought I'd use them as the basis of a dwarf warband for Mordheim. Originally I'd only planned to resculpt the beards and use various other parts from other kits for the weapons... but things got a bit carried away.... I don't have a definite idea of what figures I'd 'need' so much to play, so I'd set out to make 5 beardlings, 5 clansmen, 5 thunderers and 6 hero models - that I could just access when they're needed. I really want to treat each model like a little vignette, so aren't too precious about WYSIWIG. The beardlings are all miner themed - especially inspired by the 1980s dwarf sapper models. I'll probably field them as having helmets, clubs & daggers. I made 6 instead of 5 by accident... So far I've done 2 clansmen - these will have light armour, helmets, clubs and shields. Hope everyone's managing OK - best wishes for all of you with challenging circumstances in this weird time.

| Unfortunately the shiny pale figures against the white high glare background makes it really difficult to see what you have shown there. Looks as if you have them set up on an open lightbox.

| The Vertically Challenged Ones look SPLENDID. They should be even better painted. GREAT STUFF! | |

| These look excellent! Really cool that you customised them with your own sculpting it's always a great to see unique mini's, especially for Mordheim I'm looking forward to see those painted! | |

| Those pictures are better. You weren't kidding about getting carried away! Not much left to see of the original plastics. Great looking bunch of very personal and individual characters there. Nicely done! | |

| Great work on the sculpting front. You are actually inspiring me to get some sculpting done. Let's see if I can be half as good as you are. :p Cheers | |

| Nice work there! As someone who struggles to do the most basic task with greenstuff, I extra-admire anyone who can get good results from it...
I like the style of the warband as well -- the old Dwarf miners are a favourite of mine (I built my own Dwarf warband around them, pretty much copying the ones in the Town Cryer article), so seeing them recreated is a pleasure. & the Anglo-Saxon style helmets on the warriors are pretty cool & distinctive. Plus, I really like that some of them have swag they're making off with. Dwarf Treasure Hunters gonna treasure hunt. | |
