Initially this was going to be a couple of Merry Mushrooms, a pair of Evil Stalagmites, AND a Goblin Wizard. The Goblin was ousted & a Merry Mushroom added,

The Goblin is all painted up as well & will get a new & different base of his own.

Thanks, Rhydderch...glad you like them. I find the eyes to be the most disturbing part of the Stalagmites also. It is something that you don't anticipate seeing.

well ... I'm kind of stumped what to say ...

I'll try he's 'got lumps of it round the back' ... new guy's looking very promising - assume he's got older worn down nashers rather than something still to be added? Looks good that way to me.
and love the the little fungi round the back.

the final pic just sums up why I love following your work so much - just a delightful overview - and in the case of the latest Stump I'm particularly pleased it's just that - as I can see what I think are age rings carved inside the bole? Nice touch if so.

Those are indeed age rings in the Old Stump...you have an eye for details.

Stump Man II now is base coated & ready for some color. I still have to decide on a miniature to go with him. Enigma's Horug & Sniff is a possible. OR  he might be a solo. Anyway here is how he looks at the moment:
