Thanks, Codsticker. I am happy you like the modifications. After all the geared locking mechanisms I have added to the doors I have made & such, I have developed a real liking for clock parts & rivets.

The gobbos are always fun, & you're leaning right into that! In defence of "Carpe Diem", it might be read more as a threat -- the Night Goblins are going to steal the world from the day-walkers...

That tall display board is new to me as well -- any chance of some pictures of the caverns? Possibly with the goblin boozers within?

I look forward to seeing how that snail develops, & how much more gets added...

Over the weekend I started assembling my G.W. Gobbapalooza boxed Goblin Loonies. The minis are insanely detailed/cluttered pieces; truly inspiring:






...they inspired me to make more mushrooms of various sizes & types to go with them:


A new level of strangeness is dawning in Absurdia.

After several days of running around, I based up the Gobbapalooza Guys:




Additional mushrooms, moss, & such will be added:




The Merry Fellow on the right may be part of the Eternal Block Party. He's on an urban style base:

Thanks Harrocks. There is something about the white over black base coat that is really appealing. I know one fellow on the Lead Adventure Forum who rarely goes past this stage.  

I might well join him given the number of figures I actually finish for myself ... and they kind of look ready for display like this.

It is very much like the monochromatic gray scale technique; only with that, there are a greater number of shades of gray.

Oh, nice to see you got yourself a box of the new GW-goblin chars. I like them a lot, all these little ideas. So much in fact, I toyed with the idea of grabbing a box myself, even if I don't play greenskins at all! But they should fit in your collection just fine and I'm curious what you'll do with them!

it's funny how being green - and that stuff they're in having a loam-like appearance, it really does look like they're actually growing ...

Thanks for the reply, Grim. The new Goblin characters are wonderfully detailed little creations. If you enjoy a challenge, I would recommend them to you. I have a few more of their boxed pieces that will be making an appearance soon.

...sometimes it seems like they are multiplying as well. I half expect to see a tube of green stuff empty & The Box filled with more mushrooms. Not having all that firm a hold on Reality is such fun.  

The prepping on the Gobbapalooza Gang & some Reaper (03462) Goblins is just about done:










The shorter/lack of noses on the Reaper Lads gives me the option of different skin tones:

SO...the new PC is up & running without any of the problems/angst I was associating with the change. AND I had some photos all set for uploading to test the Beasty out. Squig style critters are a necessity for Goblins. I do have some G.W. ones painted & unpainted that will show up eventually, but I thought I'd do up a custom Gigunda Squiggle...
