| Hello, I'm Bob from Belgium. A couple of years ago I started making scenery, together with my son Viktor (then 11 now 14), as a hobby. We started out with building for WWII (after a visit to museum in Normandy) then discovered 40K, builded a complete 40K city out of scrap. Later on I builded a table top for 'a clean sci-fi world (genre: Infinity) again using a lot of repurposed materials. But in this post/site I will of course zoom in on our, also latest, scenery, made for Mordheim. On to the photo's ! They will come in chronological order. That is, the oldest first. These 'haunted trees' date 2014 I guess. Very badly made. Twisted iron frame covered in aluminum foil, I did paint it couple of layers acrylic paint to protect it somewhat. The faces are 'Das' clay. Next one my son made by himself. Traditional materials such as yellow foam and balsa. A hill with cave. Styrofoam and papier mach. I also did some experiments with the yellow foam. Sculpted the details in greenstuff. One of the first we made especially for Mordheim, dating last year. A church, the main form was a Fisher Price school (toddlers toy) we mixed it up with some cheap castle bits, pimped with foam cravings and our first attempts with casts (the skull f.i.). The last one, for today, I 'll post some more later on. A bridge, again mainly repurposed materials. The arch also stripped from the castle toy. Bobbins as pillars. For cobble stones i experimented with 'engraving' in rubber. Sorry for my bad English. Next up, level up, the Mordheim mat(s) we made this year. Ciao, Bobscene

| So, that' s it.
That is to say... the Mordheim part of what I build the couple of 2, going on 3, years. There is more, much more... (but not in the Mordheim style)
This is a fantastic hobby I enjoyed it very much. But I had to quit. It (making and posting on local game club site) took to much of my and my family 's time. That is why I won 't be able to answer Q's and C 's, I apologize for that. But I will surely read them with much attention, so post away !
Hoping you all enjoyed the pics, signing off, Bobscene.

| Tanx for the nice comments, appreciate it. Although officially i quit building scenery, now and then, in-between things, few minutes here, some evenings there… gave the following result. A medieval tower guarding the entrance of the city with annex townhouse, bar, shack and staircase-building. Because of it 's size I made it so that it can also become 5 separate buildings. The front off the building I left intact, the backside I made as a ruin. Hope you all like it ! Ciao, Bobscene | |

| LOVELY! Whether or not it's actually used in a game the board is BEAUTIFULLY crafted & painted; AND it lends itself to some WONDERFULLY evocative photos. I don't get to play the game either, but the setting & the stories it generates are fascinating. | |

| Hi, these ones I made last week. Elevations: three's, scaffolding and wooden planks meant for walkways. The three is made of a new batch of moulds I made. I used about 12 for the biggest one. I moulded branches with different diameters so I can combine them for each new three in a slightly different way. Getting pretty crowded out there. Ciao, Bobscene | |

| The walkways are a great addition. The modular tree is a wonderful idea as well. | |

| Today finished my Mordheim graveyard. All the cliché's are there. With rusty entrance gate (not so happy about the rust effect), creepy tree, crypt, open grave, I made the walls separate so I can vary size and shape. Most walls are intact, some crumbled, one is with small entrance, To finish off I have a small confession to make. This time, for the first time, I used some G.W. bits. The spikes on the fence. They came with some second hand figures. Actually I did not really need them because afterwards I found my plastic cocktail spikes. Ciao, Bobscene | |

We have all used G.W. at one time or another...

| That is one SPOOKY looking cemetery. VERY WELL & IMAGINATIVELY DONE! For the most part, I stopped thinking of G.W. as a mini maker quite awhile ago. To moi, they are a source of conversion pieces. | |

| As cool as the individual scenic pieces can be, it's the photos of the entire board that really are SPECTACULAR. Your combined boards are STUNNING, BEAUTIFULLY crafted & painted. The level of detailing is OUTSTANDING. VERY WELL DONE! | |
