Clan Skryre (Eshin Rules)

So, I thought it was time to finally show you some of what I've been working on, The pictures are kind of crappy and I don't have the warband with me atm, so this will have to suffice for a couple of weeks.

First off, I don't know why, But Somewhere in my imagination I associate meteorshowers with streams of lava and just total destruction, So I thought I should start out with the bases.
I'm quite Satisfied, Some details will need some work though.
This is the first time I've actually put in this much effort on the bases,

This Was my first Verminkin with spear, I now have 4 of em, Although I don't seem to have any groupshot of them atm.
They look the same, different heads though.

My second group of Verminkins, these nowadays have both arms and slings, I refused to order them from GW, So I attempted to GS it instead, The slings turned out quite allright, I'll have to show it off later.

So That's it for now, I'll put in an order for Ikkit Claw and Queek Tomorrow, Feels kinda funny that i'll pay that much for them just to cut them to pieces.

Can't wait for my next Kitbashing Project, this was crazy fun.

The bases are BEAUTIFUL...GREAT color choices! From other Forums I've noticed quite a few Folk finishing the bases prior to attaching the miniatures; considering my messiness with the glue I think I'll pass on the technique for now. VERY WELL DONE!  

The high tech Rat Guys are UBERCOOL; the look like they could double as Rats In Space for 40k or some other Sci Fi/Post Apocalypse style game. They also look like they will be a BLAST to paint. Have FUN with the Beasties!  

Thanks alot for your input Deafnala, Yeah I'm quite happy with the result of the bases.
It isn't really that much of a hassle, rather more problematic to paint the bases and especially the miniature after they're glued together.

Yeah I'm really happy of how they turned out, really looking forward to painting them, Just need to watch some OSL-tutorials before I paint em up.

Are the fighting claws 40K bitz? Every now and then I toy with fielding a Skyre warband, but I'm already cringing at some of the homebrew warbands in our campaigns. No need to add skaven to it.

Haha yeah. the left arm is a CSM-Powerclaw, and the right one is a.. possessed powerclaw?
I have a whole CSM army unassembled in my closet, so I felt it was time to use some of it atleast.
Though I chopped of all the fingers from the right one and chopped some bitz from the doomwheel to become claws. It's just a mash of bitz-bashing.

I wanted something Original, with the core warband in mind, I think(Hope) I succeded.

I think you have definitely succeeded with the modeling. Now the paint!

Great base-work, love the magma!

I like the use of 40k parts. It fits in well with the skaven weirdo science.

I've finally reunited with the models after a big time apart.
So when the Christmas is over, I can finally get back to work with my ratmen.
Bought an airbrush earlier this month, So I might Toy around with that as well, At least for priming and such.
Although this will now be a side project to paint when I get bored with my other project.
-That will both be a warband and an army.
9th Age -fantasy battles really gave me back the motivation that AoS Killed.
