At the edge of the Empire where Ostermark meets the Worlds Edge Mountains, the barons of house von Wolfen stand guard. And in these dark days it is the duty of a young baron to keep watch after his fathers death.
Archaons Crusade has devastated even these remote corners and many veteran knights and soldiers are haggard, wounded or dead. Few young lads have taken over the posts of fallen heroes and slowly the province of Ostermark is rebuilding.
But grim times lie ahead as the Orcs under Waaaghboss Gudrak have come to pillage and plunder ones more. They are joined by ravaging beastmen from the woods and heading for the town of Nagenhof where young baron von Wulfen is planning his defense.
Bands of mercenaries are still roaming the Empire and many are employed by the baron to defend the town. Dwarfs have come from the nearby keep to honour their forefathers promise of helping the townspeople and of course to protect the towns dwarven distillery.
In skirmishes Gudraks march has been delayed but now his army besieges the town and all but the bravest men have fled behind the safety of the towns wall.Hi everyone,
I'd like to announce our clubs annual
Mordheim Event: Der Ruf des Schicksals (The call of destiny) and invite you to come.
It will be hosted on 10.10.-11.10. near Munich/Germany and focuses around a siege in the Ostermark.
Imperial and dwarven warbands will sally out of the beleaguered town Nagenhof and fight the warbands of Orcs and Beastmen. Meanwhile a Warhammer Siege game will be played and the results of the games will directly contribute to its outcome.
One the second day the warbands will join the ranks of the army and either defend or storm the towns walls.
Of course there will be plenty of time for nerdy talk and beers.
If you are interested, please have look at our
booklet, our clubs
website where we discuss the event or contact me.
At the moment all scenarios and information are only in German but I can provide these in English too, if this is a problem. Most players are fluent in English too, so you won't be alienated during the event.
Some eye candy from my coorganizer Leolyn (who actually did most of the work and has hosted the event in previous years) and a hint on what to expect from scenarios and terrain
