Dim sunlight pierced the heavy rolling clouds that normally covered the desolate wastes around Mancunius Dome. Heavy booted feet pounded across the plascrete ground as thirty-odd Orks advanced into the industrial ruins.

Two Rhino variant tanks rumbled into view through the shattered buildings and pipelines, Iron Hands livery adorning their hulls.

Crude data streams chattered across Ironhead’s cybork vision, his head-up-display showing blocky green pixelated icons floating over locations on the battlefield, updating and changing with the ebb and flow of the battle. Three points near-by were illuminated by urgent flashing triangles and he directed the mobs around him to take and hold them. The Boyz eagerly ran forward and

The Iron Hands Marines advanced through the rubble strewn streets: lascannon fire flashed over the Orks’ heads and Whirlwind rockets rained down just ahead of them.

The icons in Warboss Kurgan’s vision flickered and reset - picking out the Razorback as the next target. At his shouted order the Ork heavy weapons focused their fire - Big Shoota rounds and Rokkits spattered and boomed across it’s armoured prow.

The Marines held their position and brought the full force of their firepower to bear on Kutbolt’s Boyz and all but annihilated them - only the Boss and the Rokkit Launcha Boy survived the barrage.

Weirdboy Howza detached himself from Skarfang’s Mob and slunk quietly behind an armoured pumping station building, out of the line of fire. Warboss Kurgan waved the Boyz forward regardless…



As the Marine pressed forward towards their lines, gunning down the remnants of Kutbolt’s mob. The Tech Marine repaired some of the damage to the Razorback and it ploughed through the nearest ruins to get to a key position behind the Orks.

That is a FANTASTIC LOOKING game! The terrain & minis are WONDROUS to behold...a lack of narration does nothing to diminish the post. GREAT STUFF!  

Another game with no commentary... but I will just say this: I lost this time but it was great fun. Tactical Objective cards are fickle masters!
