| Is the sigmarite hammer a one or two-handed weapon?
The matriarch and the three superior sisters can wield two of them, but the rest of the warband treat this weapon as a one or two-handed weapon? The rulebook doesn't say anything about that, or i missed it.

| It's onehanded. All cc-weapons that are not explicitly stated to be doublehanded are onehanded. | |

| I've seen a witch hunter roster with sigmarite warhammers listed. It makes sense to me for witch hunters to have access to these weapons, especially the priest, but does it say that somewhere? Has anyone else allowed these weapons to be used in other lists?
Also, do the combat and shooting skills which open up weapon proficiencies apply to unique racial weapons?

| Witch Hunters do not have access to Sigmarite Hammers in 'official' lists. Other lists--Werekin includes the Sigmarite Hammer as the Warrior Priests weapon in his article Miracle Workers. I think it shows up in the Sigmarite Protectorate as well, but I don't have either in front of me to check... - Quote :

| Thanks.
I haven't heard of those lists. Where can I find them?

| Miracle Workers is an article introducing alternate rules for Priests of the Empire. http://libermalefic.blogspot.com/The Protectorate of Sigmar was written for a Sylivanian campaign published in the Letters of the Damned newsletter. | |

Yes they do. Yeeees, but you can only BUY things that are found in your Warband's Special Item section or the Trading List. Ex. A hero has Weapons Expert (the shooting one). He may use any Repeater Crossbow he buys or finds. Ex2. A dwarf hero has Weapons Training (the combat one.) He may not BUY a Sigmarite Warhammer, because it's not on the trading list and not in his warband's special item section. However, if he finds one (ex. you capture an enemy Sister hero and rob her of her equipment), he may use it.

Very good clarification. So a witch hunter warrior priest cannot buy a sigmarite hammer, despite his ability to use one with the skill.
