| VERY IMPRESSIVE! The height by itself draws attention to the piece, but it is all the interesting angles & detail work that hold it. As a W.I.P. piece it is WONDERFUL; when complete it will be a masterpiece. Keep up the FANTASTIC WORK! | |

| The plaster work with the modeling are making good progress. Likewise, the bonding of the individual roof shingles. A total of approximately 1,700 pieces were. Individually tailored veneer and bonded. That was one of the less beautiful craftsmanship, but well worth it. In the last picture you can see the ridge tiles, which I have also molded from the clay. I use it often. It is inexpensive, dries quickly and can be edited well as carving, grinding and drilling. In the meantime, I impress even the brickwork in the ground. I like the result better than with styrodur. The chimney is made of styrodur. I then pasted over with the crowd and modeled the core. The round window, the pointed arch windows that follow later, and the stained glass are of Hirstart. Copy and cut out. A few larger window as well. I have but then pasted on doors and turned as iron fittings. Photos of which I will explain later. As so often then came a change of plan .... As so often in construction ... The plan was a simple yes slim tower. The first change was the houses on the tower. At the beginning it was not thought so. I was asked how to get into the tower. Ok, it must establish a staircase. | |

| That is sick, and inspirational. I really should get myself some more balsa wood soon. It'll make my building life so much easier.
Awesome stuff!! |

| Yes, you're right. But here I have not used balsa. Spruce and pine sawn. I do not do more. is too much work. In the meantime, I use almost exclusively Balsa | |

| the construction is completed so far here. a few changes to be made. on the last 2 photos you can still see the stone arches, which are on the upper terrace. this I have removed later. a few things are still missing. 2 doors and windows need to be adjusted. Draw some stones, and lots of little things. if you glued the styrodur, occur at the corners continuous vertical joints. this should not be in the masonry. and do not look good. in every second row I have modeled a stone of this joint. to let the masonry look more realistic, I press with a piece of wood strip some stones a little deeper. other I sculped new. so they stand out a bit. and the brickwork is gaining deep. with aluminum foil I give the stone a structure
A work that I like less, the primer, especially when the size of this building. I do not use a spray. only brush and acrylics, which I myself mix. I can be primed individual areas with different colors. Here for example, with a dark gray for the stone, which is always brighter towards the top. I primed wood with dark brown. It will not look very badly weathered. in highly weathered wood, I use various shades of gray, a little brown. | |

| THIS is simply astonishing, superb work, like the feeling over it, very spooky and sinsiter. The only thing that i would like is to have a the possibility to move models into the inside of those structures, but nevertheless, thumbs mega up! _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! | SPECTACULAR & INSPIRING! Your creation is an imposing somewhat sinister piece.Your color selection & brushwork are OUTSTANDING. Those are the most elaborate window treatments I've seen thus far...the effect is worth the effort. AND the roofs are WONDERFUL with all the interesting angle that make the rest of the structure SO interesting. FANTASTIC WORK! | |
