Skavenblight's Space Orks

1 year ago I've started my Gorkamorka gang... or warband, or how do you call it... well I had a plan to paint only 10-20 minis for Gorkamorka but I love space orks, so I paint gang which is also beginning of my WH40k army.

[Yes, I have my Assault on Black Reach and start to convert... ekkkmmmm, to learn German of course, it's almost the end of my holidays... but tabletops are always on 1st place ]

I've painted 14 orks... it's not too much and I regret I have only 2 pics of the first 4 finished minis. But it isn't the end my army is coming

I will keep you posted as Mordheimer and I are working on something that involves Orks.

I need to buy Assault on Black Reach...each time I get the money I need to spend it on something else.

There IS something about Orks with Machine Guns that is SO appealling, at least to moi. AND yours ARE fine examples of the genre. The motivating/inspiring quality of a mini(s) is for me the mark of a quality paint job, AND NOW I NEED to paint somemore Machine Gon toting Green Psychos! WELL DONE!

know the feeling, I'm trying not to spend money on Imperial guard.

Though my fantasy Empire armies are done (2 at moment might merge the colours into one huge army) but i keep oggling more minis for them going if I had 10 more statetroops... i'm weak

Also working on starship troopers MI army, seems fun game.

Fortunately or unfortunately...i have been helping other people with my money.

I had to lay off someone at work 2 weeks and put $90 in a card to them on their last day.

I saved up $60 to go buy the Assault on Black Reach and someone from my work needed that money to get them by.

I had another $50 saved up and one of my workers were behind on their rent.

At least it helped others.

I'd never started with more than 8 Orcs and never get more than 12, so I think 14 Orcs are okay.

I renamed this thread, because I'm going to have not only Gorkamorka mob... I started collecting minis for my WH40k army long ago, but until last week I didn't thought that I ever paint them all... but I started painting last Sunday and I'm proud of the first mini Of course, there is long way from one grot to the whole army, but I love the orks so much that I hope to finish them... in next 2 years maybe

I think my camera is the second camera from hell which hates its users (DeafNala possesses the first... or the camera possesses him!), but the pics are (hopefully) not so bad.

COOL SPACE GOBLINS...or whatever they're called. The Little Guys crawling all over the Orky Vehicles Oil Can in hand & an INSANE smile plastered on their kissers is what makes it for moi in 40K. GREAT JOB AS ALWAYS!

With the camera there is some doubt as to who owns whom. The ONLY thing definite is that it's from HELL AND it HATES me...darned good taste for an inanimate object I'd say.

Ahhh! I love that Gretchin! I need him in our upcoming Rebel Grot Squad...it is a secret so don't tell anyone as we can't start until we finish a few other squads but they are pretty cool.

But that's not all... there is one new greenskin. I have 3 metal models more, now I'm waiting for plastic grotz, which Kapitan Hak promised me as a gift... I'm starting to understand what's "team work" - I paint all the minis, but someone has to buy them...

For Little Green Guys, they sure are packing some HEAVY metal. VERY COOL STUFF! GREAT paint job & I LOVE the bases. The Kapitan is getting off light...most of the Girls around here are looking for diamonds. Keep'em coming!

I love the Ork fort, it is great.

Excellent use of old sprue frames! HA! Genius!

LOVE ORKITECTURE! The Good Kapitan is VERY CREATIVE & IMAGINATIVE...should make for an interesting marriage. The rope bridge, in particular, is VERY COOL, AND the use of at hand material is EXCELLENT. GREAT PIECE OF WORK!
