| small update: the answer is (finally) partially destroyed dome! additional radial planks added minis can now stand safely dome planks soaked in water and bent then dried wood glue (no clamping but overnight patience) filing, sanding wood putty next (not dry or sanded yet) to replicate plaster on part of dome almost 100% sure the plaster part will be gold sanding dome after putty dries then it's back to the solder iron and burning bricks...ug! WIP quick additional shot for scale: | |

| Wow! I must admit that I will use a bowl or styrofoam sphere if I ever complete my planned domed building... | |

| Man, what you are able to produce with just a jigsaw and some wood is plain awesome! Even though i dont like the clean look of it, as you allready know, i bow to you. brilliant job! _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! Bobby! | can u fight on the attic floor/oculus/dome? YES can u stage your archers at top of the broken dome? YES including ground floor and oculus, 4 playable levels on this building the fall from oculus attic to x "marks the spot" is 8.5" attic/dome has no railing unlike levels 2 & 3 PS thx for taking the time to look and comment: deafnale, per, von kurst, floedebolle... PPS floedebolle: I like your stuff too even though it's not my style that's why I like this forum...new ideas and visions! I'm pretty sure I'd have fun on your board pretty sure you'd have fun on mine...I would definitely only have painted minis | |

| probably my last post of pictures for this building in WIP it's done! changed my mind a bit along the way: ruined side wall to sleeping quarters 2nd level temple has "fake" windows on 4 diagonal walls front second level window is a giant circle instead of the usual double arched windows glad I framed out the dome instead of having a solid semi-sphere...makes level now playable now to paint! if you've seen my other buildings, the color scheme will be different (ladders, wall icons, rubble and grass added after paint) overall a big project for me, but I'm pleased so far... PS other than a few scraps here and there, the 1/4" plywood used -- which is the used for all walls and floors -- was ~16 square feet (1 4' x 4' board)...I didn't realize it was that much until I finished comments and questions welcome | |

| It is a very different style from the usual Mordheim ruin & a BEAUTIFUL variation at that. The view down the stair well remains my favorite aspect of the piece. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| it's almost done, but won't be able to finish the last few exterior walls on second level this weekend or properly photograph the whole thing and all the levels (the rest is all painted inside and out) so a brief sneak peak | |
