| Since my son has claimed our Mordheim Ogre Bodyguard for permanent employment with his Middenheim gang we were in need of a new ogre to pick up his contracts. Found an old ogre standard bearer that had the older style of ogres, the new Ogre Kingdoms are nice but have a different character to them. This is not my pic but I forgot to take one before paint strip and cutting. On with the conversion! My greenstuff skills are very limited, usually just gap filling, etc. Ready for hire! | |

| Hi,
I really think the ogre is painted very good. But I would've done something different with the green-stuff on the base.
I personally like it better, wenn the base is designed to the edges and the design doesn't end before them. Also the structure is very smooth. When I create my bases, I have several rocks (here it's called "Sandstein"), which I press on the greenstuff for a real-rock-surface! It also looks good imho when being drybrushed!
The ogre really is painted fantastic, but the base doesnt' convince me!

| Love the conversion. You ended up with a very characterful ogre. | |

| I dig it! The old ogres has a much more Mordheimish feeling. | |

| Thanks for the comments, he was a fun model to make. I have wanted to do more with my bases but I am also looking at wanting uniformity in my Mordheim models. With 8 warbands done the same style I am dreading the day I decide to rebase them all. | |

I've had that same ogre floating around my storage closet for years... Does that mean your orge might come out of the closet soon? Excellent conversion of the orge. I like the big bag he is carrying.
