| Hey all. I was planning on just grabbing some Fenrisian Wolves, but where Witch Hunters are concerned, I feel those would be a bit out of place. Anybody know of some good dog models? My google image search-fu failed me. Basically just looking for more 'dog' than 'wolf'. Maybe more like a Ritweiler or Doberman. | |

| Thanks, I posted on my break at work while I was thinking about it and didn't see a search option on my phone. Might have been one set of Bloodhounds in there that could work. That thread seemed to start focusing on chaos hounds and dire wolves after awhile though. If anybody has anything a little less 'evil' let me know | |

| Probably, heh. When I tried to do a search I either got warhound titans or occasionally female models with attack dogs... which wasn't all that bad, mind you, but still. | |

| Reaper Miniatures make a good pair of guard dogs. the set is 03326 Guard Dogs. One is a bulldog and one is a mastiff. I won this set and the mastiff fits in pretty well with the GW warhounds. The bulldog is pretty big but looks the part. | |

| I picked up some of the hounds from the wood elf Orion kit. They're pretty much Irish wolfhounds; very imposing models without being OTT.

| I love the Fenrisian Wolves but they are just gigantic. That sculpt in a smaller size would be wonderful. | |

| These two war dogs from Reaper are pretty good. A mastiff and a bulldog. They are a little bigger than the original Mordheim war hounds. | |

| I've seen the Zombicide dogs used; they're great, but quite small | |

| I was considering those as well, but they are hard to come by. Plus, 20$ for 6 dogs is quite a lot if you consider that you get 20! zombified dogs for just 5$ more (IF you can get hold of them). In the future, I might just get the Warmachine Khador warhound or maybe the "princess" from Guild Ball: They are both a bit pricey as well, but at least I can order them without looking through the whole internet, and they seem to be sculpted very well also. | |

| I was looking at Zombicide dogs as well but they are a bit pricey. I would be interested in scale. I would prefer a smaller dog anyway as I think even the Mordheim Witch Hunter hounds are kind of large. I have a pack of the old Marauder Dark Elf War Hounds that I like the size of. I wouldn't want anything larger than that really.
Currently looking for a wolf model that looks good but is not on a cavalry base.

| I got a set of these Hail Cesar Celt Mastiff Pack. Great looking sculpt but they may be a little small when compared to the Warhammer Heroic 28mm scale. I will paint them and get a picture posted next to a Mordheim model soon. " | |

Attak Dogs War Dogs I found pictures of the Otherworld ones on 25mm round bases next to the Warlord Mastiffs here, and they look pretty tiny. I mean, they're realistic I suppose, but they don't look like they'd fare well against an Orc or a Gor, you want something that has the same sort of heft and muscle mass as the Mabari from the Dragon Age Origins PC game. The Crooked Dice models look more like it in terms of size, but they're the wrong breeds for me; when I think "warhound" my mental image is of a pack of baying Mastiffs, I look at the CD models and think "police dog, posh English people dog, Chav dog". It's maddening how few options there are for 28mm-ish dogs. The Sgt. Major Miniatures mastiffs are almost big enough, but you have to pay $20 shipping for a $10 purchase to get them to the UK, which just isn't going to happen.
