Skavenblight's Carnival of Chaos thread

Carnival of Chaos was the second warband I have painted. One year later I was no longer happy with the results so I decided to paint my minis again. I have painted the whole warband, except one tainted one and brethren, which are still waiting for it with ca. 80 minis I have to paint . The first mini I want to show you is my plague cart - it was my summer project. I have actually two plague carts, because I couldn't paint the old again but I couldn't also destroy it. So I've done it one more time from scratch.

I was thinking "what a cool box style cart" but when I saw the pics of the cart being open I was stunned. That's really awesome! Soo cool! I imagine some great dioramas with your cart and the crowds surrounding it. Thanks for sharing!

VERY COOL, IMAGINATIVE, & EXTREMELY WELL DONE! The interior stage backdrops are a REALLY nice feature to the Cart, VERY Carney feel to the whole thingy.
BE PREPARED to be hounded mercilessly for EVER MORE Photos [I can hear the Photo Psychos howling in the distance ALREADY ].

that's a great Idea you had there with your cart. Good job on the chequers on trousers of the big guy and the pelmet of the horse (right word for it?! dunno). And now let's see some close ups on the guys pls

I love how the cart opens up, nice idea! And those bases remind me of yummy caramel...mmmmm

Yes, two boxes actually.

The next thing - Plague bearers.
I know that only 2 are allowed but I had to buy PB from WFB and I have two additional minis.

haha love the spelling of papa noigal. adds an entire new level of childishness to the plaguebearers and the affection showered upon them (ewww) by mr N R Gall himself.

In their own GROTESQUE & DISTIRBING sort of way they're RATHER charming .Photographing the lads(?) in their natural environs is a PLUS! VERY NICELY DONE!

There are also another children of our beloved Papa - highwayman-nurgling, dwarf-nurgling, jester-nurgling... maybe painting is not my best but I love them anyway

Well in a RATHER grotesque sort of way, they ARE cute! The Nurgle-Girl to the left [the one making pouty lips ] IS my personal favorite. VERY NICE STUFF!

It's not new, you've seen my brutes when I put here my plague cart.
But here are better pics of one of them (the second maybe tomorrow... I have to work on them... I mean the pics... I need some others for Golden Tom too )

You ARE definitely a Lady who WILL not allow herself to be limited to those thing that are archtypicall considered feminine; BRAVO! The Brute IS ubercool, EXTREMELY well done, AND DEEPLY disturbing [I like disturbing minis ]. It's nice to see the lad in a pic ALL his own. LOVE the checkered pantaloons!

That strongman is excellent, Skavenblight! Fantastic painting, and beautiful tones in the colours as well. Also, the whole warband is satisfyingly creepy and disgusting, of course!
