We have taken some advises from other and we painted in black the building's carborad borderes.

Well...since you asked, I would paint the tree trunks a dark greyish brown & cover their base with the same scenic effect & color you used for the board. Of course that's only moi, & I can get carried away with things.

There are a spanish brand called Tercio Creativo who is launching new game "1650 A Capa y Espada".

They are casting miniatures to play. We think it looks great in a  Mordheim warband.

He has that Mordheim (Renaissance) look to him...a VERY elegant & somewhat sinister mini. VERY WELL DONE!

Today I'll show up the final result of Imperial Botanicvs: Trees proyect.

We think trees runs great as single tree or like a wood (if you put multiple trees together).

LOVE 'EM! They have a Bonsai quality to them, which I find appealing. GREAT WORK!

I had a look through some of the other models in the '1650 A Capa y Espada' range. They are very excellent as Mercenary alternatives and a few would make fantastic Dark Souls in a Possessed warband. Thanks for pointing them out

A few days ago someone asked to us how we did cobbestone bases. It's really easy if you know how.

We have done a small tutorial to show to do it... in spanish :PIt's a really easy job, if you see the pictures you will understanding everthing.

We use air dry modelling material by Dass, a sculpting tool, a small piece of pine bark, glue and brushes and paintes.

Do you customize your Mordheim bases?

Love the mood of the setting! Great scenery and I particulary like the tents in the fields! Makes it look like a proper adventure!

Nice bases!  

I used to do customized bases when I kept my warbands more segregated within settings--Amazons in Lustria, pirates on ships, etc. But nowadays I tend to just leave the base plain since I don't like seeing jungle plants on a ship or cobble stones in a jungle.

Well, we've done a tabletop  to play inside a empire's state.

We like play scenaries from Empire in flames with Mordheim rulebook, so we play in the country side!

Alas the photos of my old minis got lost in one of photobuckets' updates...  

Looks very promising. I really love that you have already started to build the walls even as the ground is still only board. Gives me a sense of it growing. Almost like a wireframe or an early rendering from a computer generated scene.

LOOKIN' GOOD! That's somewhat similar to the trail through my Spooky Woods. The texture for the ground is TERRIFIC...that should paint up BEAUTIFULLY! Keep up the FINE WORK!

Von Kurst, the first tables were a test proyect to lear to make roads, walls, green, etc. It called Mordheim Tabletop.

Now I showed up our Imperial Tabletop.

We can set together both scenaries to play, destroyed villaged and country side!

Have you ever play with miniatures from diferentes brands?

He's a FINE looking Swash & Buckler Hombre...SPLENDID brushwork on a COOL mini. VERY WELL DONE!   


I tend to use a variety of minis from various & sundry mini makers; basically whatever strikes my fancy. There are just SO many excellent minis around that limiting the selection is not a particularly appealing prospect.  

Love those 1650 minis.

My warbands are made up of models from various companies. Mostly Reaper, Foundry and GW. I have been collecting since the 1980s though so I have many miniatures that I can't remember who made them...
