Victoria Lamb is MOST DEFINITELY a gifted artist. She's also a designer of theatrical scenery, AND recently started her own range of minis, but what REALLY endears her to moi is that she refers to Space Marines as "pointy nosed robot guys.

OH WOW! That IS incredidible, beautiful, AND Uberinspirational. Can you imagine something like that as a functioning model for Mordheim? Time for ANOTHER cold shower [on second thought, forget it, I CAN live with the passion ]. Thanks for the post.

I've always loved that Victoria Lamb diorama, and that Bertha conversion is amazing.

As for the 'Sold to the Pits' diorama - UNBELIEVABLE! Lots of ideas for Mordheim minis in there (the Marauder type guy with his arms crossed, with the chaos warrior legs is BRILLIANT, as is the Marauder shouting and pointing. Those are Catachan heavy weapons arms. I have those somewhere. I know what one of my Norse warband is going to look like!). The building itself, though, is extraordinary. I've always wanted to build a PIT for Mordheim (after I finish the Great Library I'm working on at the moment). Now I have my inspiration!

Now, that's a great diorama. He should build the second part as well and soon I'll drop by to have a fight around the pit

That is the coolest thing I've ever seen.

My scenery is inspired by the houses in our neighbourhood! (There are still people without chimneys here, you can see smoke coming out from under the tiles!)

I've never been to Bruges but I recently saw a film called "In Bruges", apart from being a really f**king good film the architecture of Bruges is absolutely stunning and just right for Mordheim (well if you added a few holes to the walls etc!)
I think Bruges is one of the most preserved medieval cities or something?
