VERY COOL, superscenic...this has possibilities with the spooky woods project.

I hope you don't get mad at me for putting up so many pictures...

This Summer my girlfriend took me to see some interesting places in Hungary. We went to locations like Skanzen (open air folk museum), Szentendre, Visegrad (with its amazing castle) and Hollókő (a gem of a place). Here are some pictures of the buildings we saw:

And yes, she is Hungarian indeed. The country is lovely, food is great and there are loads of amazing places to visit. I would like to visit Transylvania (which is literally next door) one of these days. Now there's another great source for inspiration!

The paint job is somewhat lacking for a "showcase diorama" but I dig the architecture big time. Just let me slap some paint on it...

Reminds me of the time Cadwallon was my latest hope for some nice, charismatic human miniatures!

That was the one that FFG did at gencon last year I think.
to show off it's pre painted mini sets.
I dig the buildings big time though.

The buildings are ace! I'm curious about the game too...

Grimscull, do you know if these minis are compatible with the average 28mm scale models?

There's a rough scale comparison, sorry for bad pic. my renfield cave is the gloomiest room in the house. (the missus needs the light for her sewing room)

Hey renfield286, thanks for the scale comparison. They still look fit to be used along the other 28mm scale minis. Now, I just need to start saving up... good Jester photo and good idea too.

Von Kurst, that diorama is beautiful. Not very impressed with the stone work on some of the buildings, but still an amazing display! Love the stage and market too!

Yep, I myself use anything between 25mm & 32mm Heroic myself. you can get away with the difference if you pad the bases of the smaller mini's.

although a 54mm dwarf is just a 32mm ogre. :-)
