| Exactly my taste in minis, thanks for pointing these out to me! The paintjob by Simon Bradley is WAY better than the original one. | |

| I had my eye set on these models for a long while, but was always put off by the looks of them. Having seen the remarkable paintjob on yours I have to say: WOW!!!! They are amazing models after all!! Warlord Games might want to think about changing their pictures and having yours instead.
I really like the idea of a whole factions living in your town. These guys are super charismatic and there is so much detail too. I love the agitator and some of the peasants (some of them could easily be used as gypsies - which is something I'm always on the look out for).
Your town looks much more interesting now (amazingly, even more that it was already).
Thanks a lot for sharing; one of the best posts ever!

| Yeah, Simon did some wonderful work on these minis. I always had faith in the sculpts - despite the original paint jobs at Warlord's. It's pretty much the same with Outpost's Highwaymen: http://www.outpostwargameservices.co.uk/new_highwaymen.htmlI'm sure they'll be awesome once painted properly... Anyways, check out Simon's website and/or blog: Lots of great minis to be found there. | |

| Wow, hang on a minute; with all this excitement I forgot to ask: what is that pavement I see in the first picture (the one the models are standing on?).

| Ah, fantastic! Really good effect (better with buildings which are not based, I guess).
Thanks for the link, I was going to ask you to post more pictures of Gierburg. Instead I'll just marvel the amazing photos of your town which I hadn't seen yet!

| A well-painted bunch of rabble-rousers! I like the look of them. | |

Joao The town's still a big WIP but I'm making progress steadily now. Right now I am working hard on the first half of the board (24" x 48"): The Port of Gierburg; usable for games of pirates, Mordheim and Gierburg alike, of course. | |

| The newest Citizens of Gierburg are BEAUTIFUL pieces by a very talented artist. GREAT WORK! A question on size: my Warlord ECW Loyalists are much smaller than the norm for Fantasy figures. How well do these Guys match up with the rest of the minis about Town? | |

| Very interesting. I tend to ignore Warlord because of the scale, but these look very nice. | |

| Hey Chris, I forgot to ask: given the fact that Tom's and Simon's painting styles are different (not in terms of quality, as they both did a wonderful job with your models), how does that impact on the overall style of your Gierburg townsfolk?

| That's a very good question I had asked myself before as well. To prevent a mix of styles (or to minimize it) I had Simon paint the rabble - a different faction from the Bondsmen (thieves and bounty hunters) that Tom painted before. So it's different gangs by different painters. However, soon you'll get to see how Tom's Bondsmen and Simon's Bondsmen line up next to each other... | |
