Ravensvale Gangs

Update, my vampire is pretty much finished at this point. Also added in a modified Vargheist as my ogre bodyguard (countingas armed with two sowrds), his wings are magnetized so that they can be taken off for stroage or if I need to fit him inside a building. He's much bigger than an actual Ogre so he's a huge target but having a cool model takes priority over the drawbacks for game play. So far he's faired very well in games usually taking a beating but also responsible for a good number of out of action results, two of which have been actual hero kills. Now if only I can get him bumped up to a hero for better xp advancements.

I played Tim's possessed on sunday and managed to kill his magister which has now been added to my gang as a zombie. Such a special kill had to be commerated with his own special sculpt. Tim had done an excellent converison based on the necrmancer from the mortis engine with a pointy night goblin hood. I wanted to capture some of the look of that model but then zombify it.

He was killed by a dire wolf which steered me towards ripped up clothes, a massive face wound and the broken neck pose. Parts used Carne Wraith for the cloak, zombie torso and legs, ghoul arms, flagellant head, mordheim sprue book, zombie drum thingy for the book cover and of course greenstuff for the hood and patching up the cloak and spell book aka the necronomicon.

That is a UBERCOOL conversion...the broken neck is OUTSTANDING. Kit-bashing is where it's at. GREAT WORK!

Agree with Nala: I think the zombi-fied magister is going to look GREAT with some paint on!

Love the vampire and zombie, but really LOVE the book, looks like the Necronomicon, from Army of the Dead. I just hope your enemies got a Boomstick
