| That is indeed one mighty fine building!!
Just one tiiiiny question; Isnt Excise a shortening for Execise i.e; some kind of gym? (I blame my native tongue for the misunderstanding but google translate doesnt give me an suffient explanation.)
And im kind of sad too, saw these bald dudes with giant mustache and tight traindress lifting in a nice medieval gym.. Witch doesnt make any sense really in a dangerous town like Mordheim i suppose..

| Hi, Thanks,
Excise just means tax.
Edit: I just looked it up and excise actually means an internal tax. Custom duty is import tax, so really, I guess, this should be a customs house not an excise house.

| Ah! Taxes... yeah, dreadful peoples. =) Thanks for the explanation! That explains why these unlycky fellows hangs there!
So not enought that Beastmen stalks the Woods, Skavens in the sewers and Chaos roaming free in the middle of the night and Elfs in all kinds spreading terror among soldier and commoners alike you also need the pay the taxes or feel the wrath of the taxers!
Life just cant be simple for the common man, thats for sure!!
Is there perhaps a Wip on this most great building of yours? Im in the planning for making me an own city and this seem to be a good place to start!

| I also like this building a lot, I think there is a strong "warhammer" feel to it. I love in particular how this building is connected to "water" and the details like the cages.
Are the roofs detachable or are they fixed?

| Oh boy, that's a glorious creation!!!
I already loved your town, so I'm super happy to see this great addition. Very characterful (especially the punished prisoners).
Good use of the GW fortress too.

Everything is fixed. There's not a lot of interactivity, really, with my terrain apart from the odd platform to stand on. Most of it just sits there blocking line of sight.

| Oooooo, Iam unhappy now! No interiors ? But why ? This building is one of my favorites in this forum that is for sure, only if I was getting that great idea. Taxative life is veeery thinly life,so Morheimly mood have Your building. I just love cages and chains,so love so I must to create some building in that manner with chains cages corpses and such. Great job,I am very pleased to see a tonne of individual great come-ups and ideas on this forum that apparently I will create a very big game table and I think that I will have no room for players in ma flat LOL | |
