House WIP

Hope you can see the pencil lines ^.^
as you (hopefully) can see, me and my dad are working on a house for mordheim
we just finished drawing it, and I have cut out some things already.
I'll have it finished before the end of next week

Looks interesting. Looking forward to more pictures.

Also I think it's very cool that you're doing this with your dad. It's never easy to find good dad/son-activities so it's very cool you are doing this together. Keep the photos coming!

1) Looks interesting, expecting the final result eagerly.

2) Great dad/son activity. My dad used to help me with some scenery aswell (and I learnt some "techniques" from him, like using the white "wall" paint to give your buildings texture). When I was a teenager we used to stay up till 4 in the morning building houses, basing, glueing etc... I loved it. One of my coolest "childhood" memories is me and my dad sitting in my room after midnight, chatting and leaning over an "orc siege tower" we were making out of balsa wood. I am incredibly grateful that my dad took the time and had the patience to do all of that with me.

Finally finished sawing, and Tomorrow I'll start painting.
There are still comming a fence, stairs, Piles of junk, bodies, etc.

Why don't you use foamboard?
It's a lot easier to cut, looks better(at least IMO, of course that is up to you ), and it isn't very expensive.

Yep. Foamboard.

Usually found in shops that sell electric cars/planes/helicopters and stuff. They usually have lots of balsa wood and thin foamboard (5mm) for the wings of the planes (i guess).

You can cut out a house in 30mins without getting cramps in your arms from sawing

I like the holes on the floor... could be a good idea for "The Death Duel on the Roof Of Destiny" with special CC rules like "pushing your ennemy towards the hole, Initiative test to see if he falls down"

Thanks, but it wasn't that hard to cut I'm working on a zombie right now (got some putty yesterday ) but after that i'll work further
