| Hi guys, just a few quick pics of my skaven warband i'm working on: Assassin adept, Queek headtaker model with fighting claws. Sorcerer from the island of blood set with a load of stuff trimmed off and a different hand added. Black Skaven based on stormvermin with fighting claws. What do you guys reckon? | |

| COOL STUFF, Andrew! The VERY animated Queek is an EXCELLENTLY positioned mini. Have FUN with the painting! Now then as a self admitted W.I.P. thread, this belongs on the Painting & Modeling Section...which is where I'll move it. Don't feel bad about misplacing the thread; it's a common mistake.

| LOVE the Queek model in flying jump action! The others are also well-sculpted. Nicely done! | |

| Hey guys, quick update pic of the assassin adept, shown below. all painted up. not super happy with the paintjob but supremely proud of the mods. as a side note i plan on redoing the static grass on the base, it just didn't want to work. i think i'll use some of GW's 'mordheim turf' static grass tufts. nice and yellow brown for the setting. this model is one of the reasons i try to avoid finecast, really finnicky details, hard to work out what's mold line, bubble or feature. as a result there are a heap of mold lines that i only really noticed after i had started painting. a bit disappointing but overall i'm happy with how it turned out. loving the results of the red armour especially! | |

| LOOKIN' GOOD! I like the idea of the red armor; it appears the lighting drained some of the color, but it still looks good. GREAT WORK! The static grass has a mind of it's own; when it cooperates it's a great effect. I've become a fan of the grass clumps myself. Army Painter (a little pricey), Silflor, &, for larger areas, Heiki are my favorites. | |

| The new photos show the Rat Lads off to an advantage; i.e., they look far COOLER! VERY WELL DONE! If you add a dot of yellow to their eyes, you'd get a glowing effect. | |

| I really like your painting style, the faded colors look great on the rats.
And obviously your leader is awe-inspiring, good job! | |
