| Hi! I've been havin an eye on most of the topics in Painting and Modelling for a long time and been awestruck by the Epic stuff you guys make, so I decided I also wanted to start painting. So I bought my first warband, a Skaven warband. These are not the first models I've painted, I tested it out on some goblins first(I bought the starter packet, with goblin models, brush and paint) So lets begin with showin you my Assassin Adept, Skeetz the Sneaky Eshin Sorcerer Mroxk more and also better pics will come... these pics I've made suck real bad so.. soon.. really soon.. also here's a pic on a model I bought just to paint and I got to say that I am very pleased with the result! only bad thing about him is that I had very bad glue and no drill so his hand is weak. | |

| PRETTY COOL LOOKING Rat Guys! They have the grime chic style that's SO in with Skaven. Keep up the GOOD WORK! Since you mentioned it, I spotted the weak wrist. It probably would be best to remove & reglue it now than have it fall off during or in transit to or from a game. It's one of those annoying things about multipart minis. | |

| Good work. Skaven are lots of fun to play. With tail fighter and some weeping blades he'll be your new leader. Lets see the rest please. | |

| Very good for a first serious try! The models look grimy and a bit diseased, which fits Mordheim perfect. Good luck with. the rest of the gang! And, invest in a quality glue, you won't regret it! | |

| now more and new photos! Thank you for all the comments! I am very proud of them especially since I hade not close enough so much color I wanted. I made them dark since firstly, it's Mordheim, secondly they are Eshin. one doesn't really see it in the pictures but they are not truly black, but very dark dark green. Next Warband I'll prob paint is either Humans of one kind or the other, or Undead. but without further a do* my Warband! *(is the spelling right?) Assassin Adept, Skeetz the Sneaky Eshin Sorcerer, Mroxk Black Skaven, Squekitz Black Skaven, Mitz the Heavy One Nightrunner, Snutz Nightrunner, Zulrat My not so trustworthy henchmen And another 2 pics on my Deathmaster Snikch I hope these pics are atleast good enough | |

| Welcome amongst the boring mordheimers. Way better than my early paintings, that's for sure. I've personally never seen anybody add more blades to the fighting claws, so right off the bat you've done something unique. Anyway, here are some tips you might know already: - Thin your paints with water so it doesn't come off as thick, just don't add too much water or it will be too runny. - Add the gravel to the bases before undercoating with a black spray. Not sure if you did this already, but just a reminder. - Get to know the citadel washes. They're a good way to create stunning results with minimal effort. - Practise drybrushing. Skaven fur undercoated with black and drybrushed very gently with browns or greys makes wonders. - Get familiar with rusting and corrosion painting techniques with different tutorials on the web. - Remove all mould lines thoroughly before painting. This can never be stressed enough. You got a very good grimy thing going on, yet there's still plenty of room for improvement as well | |

| thx for the comments! @Kaptain Debgob I did all of those tips, except the rusty thing which I just improvised after seing loads of nice models I didn't thin my paint when I did the henchmen because I'd already gotten bored after paintin all the others, they became better then expected cause I just couldn't keep myself from overdoin a planed bad job thx for the tips anyways, since it was a long time ago since I painted them, it's very good to be reminded Like I said earlier I want to paint another warband, like humans or undead because of the colorin. I want to vary my colors and I don't think that the Eshin skavens should have much colors since I belive they want to blend in with the shadows. btw is there any other colors I can use with the models except GW's own? thats maybe a bit cheaper? I'm a new student, startin in my university in 2 weeks, so I'm kinda low on cash(especially since I preorderd Skyrims collectors edition... I just had to have it!) | |
