| Cool! I love the standard bearer and the slaanesh steed's pose curled up around the broken column. And OF COURSE the chaos warriors are very well painted, Foot! _________________ | |

| The COOLEST thing about your new Slaanesh army is this is the FIRST AND ONLY army of the Dark Prince I've seen that doesn't look like it should be commanded by Michael Jackson. WELL DONE! | |

| VERY WELL DONE!AND, from it's absence, I can imagine [vividly ] that the next mini to hit the front rank will be the stamdard bearer [I'm a Master of the Obvious ]. Now THAT is something to REALLY look forward to. Keep up the GREAT work, Oh MASTER of the BRUSH! | |

| Cheers man Quick/smallish update again. Done the banner (i think) and some started a test mini for the knights. so heres the pics was my first proper try at free hand, so i'm kinda happy how it turned out. the top of the symbol looks a little small cause of the banner having a curve in it. C&C always welcome -Foot | |

| JUST BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE the White Horse with the Dark Rider; VERY cool choice of colors. On the Standard Bearer skip the "happy with" & go for the Tenth Level of Ecstasy; that IS a fine looking bit of free-handing. EXCELLENT WORK! | |

-Foot Alright a little constructive C&C The purple transitions look great ! I also really like the bases and the banner you have done is wonderful. But.... For me, I find the horns/bone and parchment little flat. They can generally be a real pain in the @$$ to fine tune but If I may suggest the new citadel washes I think they will do you some good here. The intent with using these in this particular instance would be to warm and enrich the lower section of the horns (and the dented crevaces of the textured horns). A little gryphonne sepia cut in a 1:1 ratio with water could be used to warm the lower horns colour and increase you transitional range. This would also tie them visually to the golden hues used in your trim. For the Sorcerer I also find the furry inner cloak to be rather flat in comparison even to the fur trim of the chaos warriors. A bit of Devlan mud mixed with the leviathan purple and water - 1:1:3 should give you a much livlier looking fur! (Remember if this stuff seems a bit thin that you can always add another layer when it is dry - whereas you cant takke off a layer if you do too much though likely you will only need a smidge more in your deepest recesses like next to the body) For the paper/scrolls a little of either wash applied to your shadows will give you a deeper gradation and richer look - but much like the horns this is a spot controll technique - the paper shoulnt be washed evenly acroos just focus on warmin g the surface and deepening the shadows - your brightest areas should remain untouched or only lightly glazed. Finally while the standard is beautiful you may want to take a close critical look at the standard bearer - it could just be this photo but his purple highlights seem more extreme/less gradiated and controlled than the warriors you did previously. Dont lose your subtlety in a front rank model - you can skimp a bit on the middle guys but make sure your front and flanks are all top notch! This is going to be a beautiful army and I really look forward to seeing more of it! James | |

| Cheers everyone @tkkultist Thanks for the input, i will see what i can do with the sorcerer with that advice. I agree about the guy holding the standard too, but i normally find when i'm painting them that they look quite bright at first but once i have added all the other colours it seems to dull down the brightness. if it doesn't then i may have to rework it lol. -Foot | |

| COOL! I LOVE the single horn on each head suggesting the NOW separate heads were once a single entity; VERY thoughtful modeling. This IS going to be a Centerpiece creation AND one scary dude for the army! Judging from the rest of the lads, it SHOULD be SPECTACULAR in LIVING COLOR! | |
