| Ok, well I thought I'd take some quick photographs of my Middenheimer Warband, That I made prior to my Carnival of Chaos. They still need some work, I left their faces rather simple when I painted them as I was not sure of how to approach them and also there bases need to be completed, which I've avoid due to fear of damaging them when trying to remove their bases By skipspence at 2012-08-14 By skipspence at 2012-08-14 A friends parents found a box of my old models at their house that belonged to me from 12 odd years ago. Very excited to find among them were two Middenheimer Champions, with halberd and Two-Handed weapon and the Male young blood and a heap of plastic militia! They've been stripped and I look forward to repainting them Now that I've done a bit of procrastinating, I'll think I'll get started on a Carnival of Chaos Brethren. | |

| That is a FINE LOOKING Band with the potential to look even better. I really like the Fellow in the front rank center with the BIG hammer, shield, & book. Have fun finishing the Guys off. | |

| Nice looking bunch good deep colours and an very middenheim'ish attitude! I like that you (like myself ) give the Sons of Ulrich bows, rather then the traditional x-bows used by all human warbands. Yes crossbows are cool, but bows seem right for middenheimer warbands like yours. Looks good man. - Bolbotos wrote:

you lucky guy! Trying to get that beard sprue, but not now where The "hairy head" sprue comes with the empire "Knightly Orders" box And there's quite a lot of other nice bits in there as well | |

| You just cannot move to get into combat with crossbows. Making for some very frustrated middenheimers! Except for the marksmen who became a hero. Be loves his crossbow and his lovely shiny red boots he bought to celebrate his new higher status!
The captain is made from the top of what I think was a Middenheimer mounted captain. Got the bottom half, was found just the otherday but its so old I cannot remember it's origin. The shields from the Mordheim beastmen boxset. Some nice shields in there!
@bolbotos: I may have one or two beard heads spare from my old models I plan to convert to marienburgs I could send you. They'd already be sprayed White from years ago and be the old plastic that now seems really brittle. I'll check tomorrow if you'd like?

| I like that one alot. The axe, while large, still looks believable (some of these GW weapons are quite ridiculous). The pose is also nice, and the colours work very well. | |

| I think it was labeled as a Halberd, but definitely could be used as a Two-Handed Axe without much discussion with an opponent which is nice.
Now to get on with a Youngblood!
