| as I understand it, no idea, as a lot of playtesting is involved still, and rules need finetuning when releasing such a big product. yes, good things are happening, storylines unfold, and playtesting is underway. alive, very much so. so yeah, with a bit of patience and support, soon we will see a very nice addition to the game released upon our eager heads, and you will have all the chances to do some damage in an awesome setting. | |

| Well, from what I know (and saw with my own eyes ), it's coming along nicely, althought it will still take a while, as the setting has a strong focus on the post-battle sequence, which takes a lot of playtesting and tweaking to get it right. However, quite a lot of things are working quite well already, but you'll have to ask werekin about any detailed information, I don't want to give too much away. | |

| can you give us some new, spoilers etc. Perhaps a sneak peak for some warbands (perhaps the backgroundstory of the new warbands) or another Szenario... For me It is one of the most anticipated things in this year! I have already painted a warband for this campaign: these Warrios are highly trained in the fight against full barrels of ale. | |

| As luck (and fate?!) would have it, I co-incidentally blogged about the campaign 83 minutes after your post here! There are 6 exciting new Marienburg resources discreetly hyper-linked via my latest post. Only draft versions of these PDF gaming aids have been shared upon request previously. Regards, Werekin | |

| I did forget to lock the link into the text for the Cult of Stromfels warband list. Corrected now. Did you notice that by visiting my dropbox Rational? Frogprince & I have developed a Skurvy warband list for the budding underfolk fleetmaster. No secret link yet, because technically the ratmen don't exist! Cheers, Werekin | |

| I read your blog post in my lunch break at work and couldn't access the link to the Cult of Stromfels warband. It must be due to restrictions at work. I was able to download the file at work though after noticing that the link was different and changing it to be consistant with the other warbands. Ratmen, fishmen and the like all don't exist. | |

The only difference was I copied the originals links from the dropbox source folder on my deskbox. The Stromfels link was copied from my dropbox account after logging in on their web site. Interesting & weird that this produces a different link format!

Interesting & weird that this produces a different link format! Thanks I have read the watchmen war band list. The rules for the falcon are missing. Only his rareness is included, but not how he works. I assume that this is mentioned in the core rules. On the first page of the watchmen description one paragraph repeats. Left column third last paragraph below and right column second paragraph. Start with"Many of the upstanding....."

| How does the Whistling work? Is it once per turn? Once per hero? Once per warband member? Is there any limit to the number of Watchmen who can be summoned? - Watchmen wrote:
- Whistling: Watch patrols can summon assistance by
blowing their whistles. D3+1 Watch Officers arrive in D3 turns, and further whistling will bring more help. Watch Officer whistled for are armed with clubs. Two clubs or one club?

| @SerialMoM: Thanks for reporting the repetition. The hunting bird features in a new table for one of the locations in the Marketplace. This will be revealed in a different chapter.
@VK: This is simpler than it sounds.
Assuming the Watch Patrol whistles on turn 1 (why wouldn't they?) then reinforcements arrive in the turns to follow, if the game lasts that long. Once the 'back up' arrives then the patrol can whistle again in the hop of seeking further assistance!
Clarification regarding equipment: "Watch Officers whistled for are armed with a club."

| I read the sea elves warband and I like it too. It seems balanced to me ( much more then the original one)
I hope you would show us more battle pictures on your awesome scenery. You do not have to write a report every time the pictures are eye candy enough.

Thank you for the clarification about the summoned watchmen. So whistling for backup works like this: Watchmen blow whistles. This can happen at any time during a turn, including your opponent's player turn. [Whistles are not equipment, they are something all watchmen have automatically.] Player rolls a D3+1, this is the number of reinforcements. Player rolls a D3. In that many turns reinforcements arrive. Also on the turn they receive reinforcements, the Watchmen may blow their whistles to summon more reinforcements. From the rule as written, how do we as players know this? Also WHERE do the reinforcements arrive? Do they arrive on a random table edge or does the controlling player decide where to place them? Do they arrive at the table edge, or within 8 inches of it? Do reinforcements count toward the number of warriors in the warband for the purposes of break tests? - Watchmen wrote:
- Torture: Instead of searching for a rare item during
the post battle sequence, the leader of the Watch patrol can organise an interrogation to coax information out of an unwilling suspect. On a successful Leadership test, the torturer prizes a secret from a captured Hero. The Watch patrol gain 1 extra Campaign Point. Whichever warband the captured warrior belonged to loses 1 Campaign Point. Questions regarding this rule: -Is the Leader the Torturer or can a hero with a higher leadership be the torturer? -If the Torturer belongs to the Knights of Purity, the Torturer automatically succeeds because he automatically passes all Leadership tests. Right? -How many times may one captured hero be tortured?

| Dear all, Apologies as after revisiting my Dropbox activity, it transpires I moved a ropey draft version of the Watch patrol file across to my shared folder! As they say in the law enforcement business, "it's a fair cop governor!" I've rectified this by substituting the file, and for the sake of argument a reference to the hunting bird (from the Speciality Animals Chart) has been included. Having returned from my holidays, in the World's Edge Mountains (in Poland!) the rules page on Liber Malefic that hosts scenarios (post entitled 'Best Fight Scene') has been updated with the working copies of all 10 core scenarios plus a copy of a player aid called 'Epic Campaign Rules' which hopefully covers some important topics by supplying handy guidelines. http://libermalefic.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/RulesRegards, Werekin | |
