| So I've been hearing rumors of a new called Mutiny in Marienburg being put together by several of the same people who gave us Bordertown Burning. My group played the shit out of BTB. We played BTB so hard that after the third campaign we had to leave GW entirely (only for a year though). Is there any news for Mutiny in Marienburg? My group is about to make its fourth run at Cathay here in the next couple weeks. After that, we'd love a trip to Marienburg. | |

| This will fit in perfectly for an upcoming campaign idea I had not too long ago. It's set in Marienburg and the surrounding coastal areas that have been threatened by a Dark Elf Black Ark. The players each control an allied warband (Human, Shadow Elf, Dwarf, etc.) as well as a DE warband. With all of the wealth the city has in it's coffers, extra martial aid in the way of mercenary bands willing to do some dirty work would fit right in with the idea of "all for the good of the Empire". This one could be interesting... | |

Fantastic times in the borderlands of Cathay and the Mountains of Mourn. We played the setting hard. I fondly remember living and breathing this adventure day in and day out. - Quote :

I think my old buddy who managed the local GW battle bunker was sick of the sight of our custom gaming table. He did let me go down there once per week for months to build the dratted thing so what did he expect! Don't play regular Warhammer games any longer. Once you've experienced intrigue of this magnitude there is no going back to the front line on the battlefield. - Quote :
- Is there any news for Mutiny in Marienburg?
Yes, I have been scratch-building a fishing trawler for inbreds this month... The Tipsy Troll will be crewed by the unsavoury inhabitants of Broekwater who frequent Marienburg from their shady town up the coast! This week I have been writing out the prospectus for the underground scenario that I wanted to feature in MiM. I've got it down to less that 4 pages which includes all of the rules for underground quests and all of the charts. It doesn't yet include all of the rules for the sunken rooms and I don't have any rules for warbands encountering a tregara. This I hope will become the definitive Mordheim quest scenario. It has to top Horrors of the Underground from BTB. That is a tall order. - Quote :

That's a respectable record of adventuring Joker. How many players in your group? If you need an extra scene or two to try in your campaign then drop me a PM. I've leaked a couple of my new scenario ideas but not much in the way of concrete feedback has been returned for my efforts. Regards, Werekin

| Here are some MiM updates folks. Various corrections and updates made to published documents from Dropbox. Of some significance were tweaks to: -Falconry (animal handling skill) for Watch Sergeant and Priests of Taal. These Heroes can do this from the very beginning. e.g. They start out with the skill -Scenario rules for Illegal Salvage Operation, in respect of drifting and anchoring watercraft Need to settle on a scenario for my annual battle day on Saturday 18th July. Moving in to new flat on June 16th so I have one month to set up my tabletop again (at last!) and customise any necessary new additions to the board - expect some. Unless somebody with a large army of Chaos Nurgle volunteers to attend Battle For Bournemouth this summer to help recreate an End Times apocalypse game, then we could be looking at some sort of maritime themed Marienburg multi-player action with returning regulars and special guests. PM if you can and would like to attend. Mordheim confirmed for Oldhammer Weekend! August 1st 2015 - Bring Out Your Lead (BOYL) weekend event at Bryan Ansell's Wargames Foundry in Nottingham. Members of the Oldhammer Forum have been invited to attend this community event. For anyone who loves Mordheim, João Sousa and I have offered to run demonstration games using scenarios from the Mutiny in Marieburg setting. We have booked a hotel and plan to drive up with a carload of scenery and miniatures to facilitate player participation. Anyone interested in attending BYOL weekend should join the Oldhammer group on Facebook where you can find out more about this event and discuss topics of interest with fellow gamers and collectors. https://www.facebook.com/events/533242106806631/Beachhead Wargames Show announced! February 20th 2016 - Wargames Show at the Bournemouth International Centre. Traders, Competitions, Demonstration and Participation games. My application has been submitted to run Mordeim participation battles at the event. More news to follow on this. https://www.facebook.com/beachhead2016 | |

| Three extra pages have now been added to the Marketplace chapter. This covers a couple of new locations not previously included. Visiting the Herbalist in Potion Square can grant a wide range of new items to try out in your campaign games. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9489887/15%20Marketplace.pdfThe chapter is almost complete. It is only missing the section for visiting the Boatyard. Regards, Werekin | |

| Six new skills have been added to the Epic Campaign Rules downloadable file. This includes one combat, one strength, two shooting skills and two special skills for Witch Hunters.
Next job will be working on a dozen new pieces of questing apparatus for three different warbands: Ogre Man-eaters, Sea Elf Rangers and Witch Hunters.
All of the above mentioned options are based on material adapted from the Warhammer Quest app video game, except for the the 'Lunge' skill which came about from discussion prompted by the Mordheim video game.

| More you say? A couple of notes relating to incomplete work that remains unpublished. 1. A forum member called Parpi was quizzing me this week about files and the whereabouts for unpublished warband objectives. For his benefit I've uploaded the first page from two more plots. 4 are complete, 3 are now downloadable from my Dropbox missing the 2nd page, and the 8th one (for Skaven/Beastmen/Goblins) is still very much a WiP enigma. 2. Additionally, I have replaced the 1 page file download for Greater Artefacts Chart with a new 6 page document called "Unknowable Cargo". This is the Marienburg manifest. As near to a complete pricing catalogue (prices & rarities only) for Mordheiming equipment as I care to assemble. It also includes the details for a few special entries (at least one of which is not described here; Sky Rocket from Nippon Town), a page recapping the best of themed gear for pirate crews and a dozen pieces of questing apparatus for 3 particular warbands. The latter document currently uses the same link and is good news for fans of ogres, elves or witch hunters... and halflings and one-armed Hero's. | |

| The download links for Marketplace, Infamous Haunts & Greater Artefacts Chart (= Unknowable Cargo) are all together on the same blog post. You're not the first person to point out that Dropbox folders are a pig to navigate. On the other hand if I posted a straight forward link to everything then it would spoil the Easter Egg hunt for regular visitors to Liber Malefic. | |

| I have added another special scenario draft to my Dropbox tonight - All Hands On Deck! https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9489887/Scenario%2015%20-%20All%20Hands%20on%20Deck%21.pdfThere is nothing ground breaking here. The scenario represents a boarding action. It is based on a simplification of choice rules featured in Warhammer Ahoy! If you want to know about or see what else has been going on in Marienburg this month then either; 1. Follow the campaign updates on Twitter. We had a battle weekend last week and Bob's photographs were tweeted. Joao's photos were uploaded to the Oldhammer forum on Facebook. Tweets also appear in the sidebar on Liber Malefic. https://twitter.com/mordheimer2. Attend the Oldhammer Weekend between Fri 31st July - Sun 2nd August. Entry is free. Joao Sousa & I will be attending with a carload of Mordheim scenery and player aids to run participation games at the Foundry Games annual event. Join us if you can make it to Nottingham. https://www.facebook.com/events/533242106806631/Regards, Werekin | |

| Plenty of us old folks logging in to the Oldhammer page on Facebook, including such celebrities as Wayne England, Tim Prow and Tuomas this month! Expect a full report on the blog of my battle day. We're off to BOYL III weekend right now though so you'll have to get by with Mordheim Timeline updates in the sidebar on Liber Malefic (which at least means you don't need to join Twitter - although anyone can view the web page apparently!) I've asked any interested parties to visit Tom's forum to share their work with the community. | |

Did they use the link provided above? That link just results in the message quoted above, for me at least On another note, I love the new ship. Wish I could find a copy of that game... Your 'pirate table' is shaping up quite nicely as well. Edit: Now that I am an approved member of the Oldhammer group I could browse the photo galleries. Lovely shots of your table. Did you run all the Ahoy! games or just the one on your pirate table? Both look like a blast. (or at least a broadside!)
