Hello,

I admit, I really like dwarfs and have quite a lot of them. I would love to create a whole village or town for the little fellows, but for that I need dwarf villagers.

I'm usually quite quick to find things that I'm looking for on the Internet, but somehow I've never been able to find a suitable dwarven collection of dwarf civilians.

Can you please help me?

Joao

P.S. I have some models from Dwarf World collection, from Olleys' Miniatures, but they are far too big for 28mm, so no good for me...

Armor Cast has a few in the Beaumont minis:

& Gnfritter's Gnomush Workshop:

Here's my take on two:

Dwarf Villagers 28mm scale DSCN0146

They're pretty close to G.W. size or ever-so-slightly smaller. clown

Thanks DeafNala! They're both beautifully painted. The first one caught my eye, though.

Foundry has some potential candidates and Lead Adventure too.

Ratnik is producing some really beautiful citizens. Both are SUPER suited for Mordheim.

Dwarves: http://www.lead-adventure.com/index.php?cPath=23

Humans of Breugelburg: http://www.lead-adventure.com/index.php?cPath=22

Also, I would just get onto eBay and keep searching the Warhammer section for "dwar* + (citizen*, villag*)" ... there were tons of good dwarf villagers back in the day.

Good luck!

Thomarillion have a bunch of Dwarf civilians. They are not the greatest figures in the world, but there are 15 of them and they are characterful.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the additions. Lead Adventure definitely has a great range of dwarfs (and I suspect they will bring more out - hopefully a few more dwarven civilians). The old school dwarfs from GW appear every now and then on eBay, but we still need a lot of luck to get them.

As an alternative, GW is still selling some interesting dwarfs that could go as civilians:

Thomarillion has a very good range too, even though a lot of them are more linked to the tavern scene.

Keep suggestions coming, people! With so many companies producing dwarfs, there surely must be more of them civilians out there!

There are also some beautiful barmaids as part of White Knight's brilliant line that he's creating as a riff on Marauder's Empire-style dwarves from the late 80s.

You can see them painted (by your's truly ... and they were an absolute joy to paint) here:

And there's ordering information here:

Either way, it's well worth checking out the beautiful work WK is doing!

Best,

Jeff

Jimmytrout, those are excellent! Thank you for pointing them out.

And for a very reasonable price too.

I will keep my eyes peeled for the stuff WK is coming up with.
