Flame On's Mordheim Scenery - Sartosa!

And while Phil / Zelophahad was busy with that I've been trying to make a map of Sartosa from Mighty Empires tiles (kind of hard to see without paint though):

Love the embellishments to the tower! And the ME tiles are a possible use I had not thought of. Maybe they aren't useless after all...

This rapidly going from an interesting piece to something TERRIFICLY COOL! The spiral ramp REALLY makes the Tower an OUTSTANDING example of Orkitecture at its FINEST. Keep up the GOOD WORK!

Where do you get the funky looking chimney/smokestack?..Is that from a GW product, and if so can it be ordered seperately (bitz)?

It's the SEVENTH & a HALF WONDER of ORKITEXTURE!

I expect it can be ordered from your favourite bitz-merchant, it's from the Warhammer Scenery range - the Watchtower set I think.

That is SO COOL! I LOVE the stripes; it adds a touch of realism to an otherwise TOTALLY NUTS structure. VERY WELL & IMAGINATIVELY DONE!

There are already loads of small "flame" bits all over the top (hard too see at the moment though!) We might add a larger beacon at some point...

Crazy tower! The stripes are a bit incongruous, since they don't connect to anything else in the structure, especially the lower watchtower. If the lower stone work were more of a cream. However, since insanity is the goal... Well played!

The Mighty Empires Map--Oh! There's the island! Much better.

I don't know if this is universal or when they started doing it, but, at least here on the East coast, ALL the Lighthouses are painted in red & white stripes. Why this is I have no idea, but from my days as a sailor I can attest this is so.

Our internet research showed mostly red & white striped light houses too. A few were just white-washed, but that looked a bit boring.

Another quick update:

Awesome terrain dude, i'm so so jealous as i'm still using the original cardboard stuff that came with the box, albeit strengthened with plastic and lots of glue

Come on! This is not even fair or funny as this is one of the coolest and craziest pieces of terrain I have ever seen.

Seriously, I am impressed you have now officially made me feel like my terrain sucks.
